My current McAfee Livesafe will be expiring soon. For the price of this activation key i bought this activation key. But theres a problem with the 25 digit product key. The product key were rip off. The clear protection seal is slid opened. Luckily i got it to work. I use the barcode to install the software.

Select a region so we can install the right product version. When you’re ready to continue, we’ll refresh this page to activate your subscription for that region. The choices are all in Europe. {France, Luxemboug, Germany, Italy, UK, Switzerland and Ireland. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU LIVE IN THE U.S.

Have been using LiveSafe for a couple of years now. Received the disk and it was easy to install.

This product works as it should. I received the authorization code via email and used it to extend my current subscription. The moment the code was processed, all McAfee communication -- online and email -- were displayed in Russian. I copied the Cyrillic confirmation text into Google translate and easily finalized the update. Yes, it was a bit disconcerting, but it was an easy workaround. I then called McAfee support to see if theyd switch my language back to US-English, and was told to return this product for refund and buy LiveSafe from a licensed US dealer. Thats the only way to get communications in English. Since this version code worked just fine, and due to the deep cost savings with it, Im keeping it. I just wish Id known this issue from the seller beforehand.

McAfee support all too helpful. Said i needed to have firewall rebuilt among other problems. No problem though, because they can fix for $100 or $200. I returned and had Staples take care of it.
