Great working meter. Made the new install work perfectly once it was dialed in.

I have a 4 Watt CB and this unit says it puts out 10+ watts of power. My other meter indicates 3.9 Watts for the same radio. This makes all the functions of this meter questionable.

The unit works just fine, but one of the meter windows wasnt securely affixed to the unit and is easily pushed in. Perhaps QC is lacking? Its pretty simple and easy to set up to test your antennas. The unit has a 10W setting and a 100W setting with forward and reverse switches. Its pretty self-explanatory and easy to use.

Loose field strength antenna

It works, I think. Its hard to tell because I cant use it. When I transmit, it blows into my audio system for the computer. Ferrite chokes didnt help. I may find a way to ground the case, which might solve the problem. The coax shield should have grounded it, but its not doing any good if it is. It really should have a ground lug.

male connectors are too small in diameter. Also antenna fell off. China !

Ease of use

Watt meter does not return to zero. It’s going back. Will buy another brand. You get what you pay for with this one.
