We recently evaluated the features, size, shape, reviews for most of the gauges on Amazon. Out of all the gauges available on Amazon, we decided this appeared to be the best quality, excellent reviews, and features that are going to favorable to us. I did include our water filter pump house located in Hawaii for our home. Currently, it hard to see, but our pressure gauge is located on top of our water pump and hard to see.we did buy a brand new AO Smith whole house water filter too from Amazon. So the new pressure gauge we are reviewing and filter have yet to be installed, but very soon to be done.

I needed to read 2500 to 3000 PSI on my John Deere hyd. system. You dont want go too far above, or below max gauge pressure to get a fairly accurate reading , or break the gauge. O -5000 is perfect for my need.

This gauge was easy to install and works fine. Be sure to clean all connections and look for any foreign material in the line that you will install this gauge into. My application is an outdoor submersible pump system for a deep water well and this gauge is well suited for that purpose.
