When I first installed this box of bulbs in the light string it appeared that at least half of them were bad. Went back and tightened down on each one and they all worked. I dont know why, but you must tighten them more than you would expect for other bulbs.

great inexpensive alternative

These bulbs worked great with the two strands of lights hanging over the patio tables. Color and brightness matched with those that were still burning. Four stars for longevity because they have only been in use a couple weeks. They are turned on at dark and turned off in the morning. A good value.

The bulbs all work, are bright, and I like them!

The strand lights I put up a year ago needed several bulbs replaced. The bulbs I purchased from Meconard worked perfectly. The lights look very festive, again.

They are what I expected

Bought for Christmas but liked them so much leaving them up year round in our patio.

I had a series of string lights in our backyard and, after a tree branch fell (breaking 7+ bulbs), I went to Lowes looking for a replacement bulbs. But the Lowes bulbs were $8 for 2 replacement bulbs and this set of 24 was a very affordable option and worked great with my string light set. Easy to install too. Very good value, relative to Lowes bulbs ($4/each).
