Medela Breast Milk Cooler and Transport Set, 5 ounce Bottles with Lids, Contoured Ice Pack, Cooler Carrier Bag

I bought this for my wife. Shes a full time working mother and travels often for work (social work) so she doesnt always have a freezer/fridge available. The quality is great, It comes with 4 of the bottles with lids, the ice cooler block, and the cooler itself. The ice pack will help you get through a 8-10 hour shift without a doubt. I can not attest to any longer of a duration because my wife doesnt work 12 hour shifts. The breast milk collection bottles go to her medela double breast pump so it was a perfect idea for a buy. I recommend this to anyone. Its worth every penny.

Great to carry to work

I use the cooler bag to keep my breast milk or formula bottles cool throughout the night. This eliminates the need to go to the kitchen or have to put the milk in the refrigerator. The ice pack keeps the milk cold throughout the night (about 9 hours or so). I have a Medela breastpump and other products, so the milk bottles are always great to have. The only problem I have is with the bag. I wish it was much more flexible such that it is able to take an 8oz bottle. Like most moms I have bottles of all sizes and from several brands. Sometimes the 5oz bottles work, but other times I really prefer to keep everything in one large bottle. The only way to fit an 8oz bottle is to bend the bottle tip, which is annoying and the milk may leak since I cant put a bottle cap for it to fit. In order words, this set is truly best for what it came with; the 4 5oz bottles and the Medela ice pack. Furthermore, the odd shape of the bag (square shape) makes it difficult to include in the Medela breastpump bags. Ive attached a picture

The only thing I got use of so far are the bottles and the ice pack. Our daycare provider provided us with a bottle storage bag. It is great quality and I do like the solid walls. Our daycare bag doesnt have those. I initially bought this thinking I would need it to transport breast milk pumped at work home. Unfortunately my supply dwindled and I no longer pump so I really wasnt able to get a good use out of it. The icepack is great and keeps the formula cold. It is still cold when i get it back 8 hours later from day care.

When I ordered my PISA from the insurance, it just came with the unit, no notorious black bag and no cooler. I was fine with that as I planned to get a cuter pump bag (ended up with the Sarah Wells Kelly) and saw that Amazon had the cooler set. Luckily, this fits perfectly in my Sarah Wells pump bag! Its so convenient, I keep my bottles in my bag with me instead of gambling with the work fridge. The ice pack sweats a bit, but it keeps all the bottles cool and safe. I like that I dont have to worry about the bottles turning upside down when Im carrying it... I love anything that makes pumping easier!

The title says it all

Absolutely love! I would recommend this too all my pumping mamas! I purchased to store my milk while I deliver packages and have to pump for work in my car. It keeps my milk cold even when it isn’t in fridge. Be sure to take milk out of pouch to freeze/fridge or else it will keep cool out from getting in and will defrost all your milk if it is not taken out. My LO’s grandparents did the mistake of not knowing to remove out of bag before storing in their freezer and it never froze but defrosted. Otherwise great buy! :)

Fits 4 bottles with caps not nipples, and or, four soda cans. Love it, this is my third one because family is always stealing mine.!! And HSA approved.!! Oh and super easy to wash the pouch and the ice freezer pack.! And get this… if you have tall bottles, you just use one of those long tall lunch bags and or anything close and then use the ice pack in between and bam.!! Going on 6 years with this product.! It’s the best. Can not wait for them to make a taller one.!

This cooler set is absolutely must have for any nursing mother. This fits 4 madela bottles. I have carried philips avent anti colic bottles too in this. It will fit 4, 4 oz philips anti colic bottles. I’m using this to carry breast milk from my work to home. I keep the ice pack in deep freezer overnight and take it to work next morning. I stay at for 7 hours and 2 hours commute. It keeps the milk cool and it never spoiled so far. Sometime when I’m taking my baby for outing, I take one or two bottles of breast milk in this cooler set along with a flask of warm water. I usually keep the bag in the car under the seat and stay well for 3-4 hours. This is very convenient as my baby is very slow eater and she eats from the bottle reasonably faster than the breast. This set is super useful not only working mom but also if you want to give expressed milk sometime when you are out. Highly recommend.
