This is our second time to order the Medela Breastmilk Freezing and Storage 12 Pack containers. Our church uses these to transport grape juice in our Home Communion Kits. They are perfect because we fill them with grape juice and close the lid and they dont ever spill. Our old plastic containers with spouts that we previously used were always leaking into our kits. One of our young mothers suggested these containers and they have worked out perfectly. Another great feature of these containers is that they can be sanitized in the microwave. We sanitize them quite often so our elderly members stay healthy. If you are looking for containers that dont leak, these are for you!

I really like this bottles especially because you can freeze them and they are reusable. The size is about right since most breastfed kids will eat around 3oz per feeding for a long time. The only problem when compared to the plastic liner bags is that these are very bulky and can occupy half of your freezer very quickly if youre trying to build up a months supply stock. If you are hoping to keep a months supply or less frozen they are a great alternative, otherwise probably the plastic liner bags are easier to handle.

My only complaint about these is I wish they came in more sizes. They are easy to use with my medela harmony, easy to clean, and it is much easier to warm milk up in these because they are so skinny. They display both ounces and mililiters. Oh...they are a little difficult to write on, but Ive managed to find one pen that will work (papermate felt tip).

I am not an over producer and these are perfect for my milk storage. Highly recommend as an underproducer. Easy to clean.

I just ordered my first set of these in 3 years. I am a mother of 2, with a 2.5 year old and an 8 month old. I was able to use and reuse the 2 boxes of these that I ordered when my first daughter was born until recently; I actually think I could continue to use, wash and sterilize them forever, but their appearance starts to look cloudy after extended use. While these are advertised for freezer and storage, I dont freeze my breast milk in them. I find them a convenient size for storage in the refrigerator before I transition the breast milk to a freezer bag. Early in my breastfeeding career, I tried freezing in them and found them to be impratical for that purpose. They are hard to keep upright in the freezer and can leak if they fall over. Also, when you take them out to defrost them, the thick plastic makes it more difficult to defrost them under warm water, which is the fastest way to defrost milk when youre in a pinch and cant wait for it to defrost in the refrigerator. I use a Medela Freestyle Pump; obviously, these fit the flanges easily since they are produced by the same company. My model of pump cannot be hooked up directly to freezer bags- these are a great transitional recepticle to go from pump to freezer bag.

These are very handy for quick bottles. Knowing that each stores 2.5 oz makes bottle prep a snap. I wish that they came with some sort of dispensing system for the fridge so that the freshest one was always in front. Sort of like those dispensers for soda cans that you can get for your fridge. You would drop the most recently pumped bottles in a hole in the back and the ones to use first would roll up to the front. Otherwise its kind of a pain to store them in the fridge. The bases are narrow and they tend to tip over on the wire shelves in my fridge.

I was sick of using bags and wanted something that would fit in the bottle warmer for my babysitters if they needed to get some milk from the freezer. My only 2 complaints are: 1. I wish they were slightly bigger as my baby eats 3 oz and these hold just under that. 2. It would be nice if the lids had a place to write a date on as I prefer to write it there than on the bottles themselves (to be fair, there is a place on the bottle to write name and date - my preference is to write on the lid). My baby does drink out of these on occasion, and seems to have less gas when he does, so thats a plus!

These work great. I used them more for the fridge not really the freezer. Bags work much better in the freezer. Ive only dropped one so far that the lid broke. But the milk fat had formed a seal inside and it didnt leak. I kept the bottom and tossed the lid. I also use them to pump when my others are dirty. They just fill up quick. I like them for my fridge but have found it easier to use bags for the daycare.
