Greater than one weekThis wire is perfect. Pure copper at this price point is a no-brainer. Some guys like to use the most expensive, high-end wiring available, and thats simply not necessary for residential setups. It was easy to run, true to the advertised wire gauge, and the jacket is sturdy without being a nightmare to strip. Its not advertised as being shielded in a particular way, but there was a lot of overlap of the runs to my wall posts, and Im getting zero interference. Thats a big plus. Overall, I would highly recommend this wire.

> 3 dayThe wire is true 12 AWG, not 13 like some other junk cables, and contains no plastic filler material in the wire like some heavily marketed name brand cable. So far, I got exactly what I was expecting for a good price. Happy with this heavy duty speaker cable. Should have no problem feeding a thousand watts to speakers.

> 3 dayI went to Lowes to buy 14/2 speaker wire. What I got was a clear wire covering the wire. One wire was copper and the other one was silver of some kind of metal. Once it was cut, it was mine for $39. What a gype! I knew better and I still messed up. I immediately went home and got onto Amazon and found that Mediabridge had speaker cable with a red covering for the hot line and a black line for the ?ground? with a white insulating cover over the wires. That is the kind of wire I have used for over 40 years. There is one flaw. I ordered and received 14/2 speaker wire, but it is described here as 12AWG 2-Conductor Speaker Wire. I am a little confused on that. I hope I didnt get charged at a higher rate due to the error. Please let me know what happened

Greater than one weekI’ve used Media Bridge for 2 systems, and one that was during new construction. Solid cable to run in walls, very high quality if you’re running audiophile type equipment like myself. Speaker wire is definitely something you do not want to cheap out on!

> 3 daySeems like good wire. I dont really know of a way to check/verify the AWG, but it is nice heavy wire and its all copper. I made a 60ft and an 80ft run of wire for the back set of speakers in my paintless auto hail repair shop and my sound system sounds awesome.

> 3 dayExcellent wire. First time wiring up a 7.1 Surround sound system behind walls under floor and back over. 12 guage wire is nice and thick and worked perfect for my Klipsch R-5502 W II Speakers. Very Satisfied.
