> 3 dayThese are high quality and very easy to use connectors. I been using another brand (Sewell) over last 3-4 years, they were good, but these take over them in many areas - build quality of both brands however is the same. First the Mediabridge (MB) take 10awg wires easily while the Sewell struggle a lot and seems to be made for upto12awg - this impacts your speed tremendously if you build heavy10awg wires. Second, the design of MB allows to fan out the wires more easily in case you cut the insulation slightly longer, while the Sewells design is unforgiving and you will have to cut the bare wire to 1/4 inch to fan out. Lastly, the red and black pairs are easily identified in MB, while the Sewell has a thin line which makes it difficult to see the color in dark environments like home theatre. During setup this could be important and avoid costly mistakes.

> 3 dayI would have given these connectors 5 stars except for one issue that bugs me -- I dont like the black and red rubber rings they use for color coding. When you try to tighten the connector the ring just slips around and you can get a solid grip on it. I had to use pliers to hold the edge of the base while I tightened the knurled edge along the top. They should just paint a stripe around the base instead of using a rubber ring.
