I have two home theater setups in my home and I have used about 30 pairs of these to handle all the speaker wiring. Ive used both 14 and 16 gauge wire and they fit both easily. Simple to install and use, and create a very snug and reliable connection between the speaker wire and your equipment. You really cant go wrong with these. Im no audiophile, but these will absolutely do the trick for you unless you just want to spend 20 bucks a pair on some fancy brand. Buy them, use them, and enjoy your nice clean sounds. No regrets whatsoever on these.

These were recommended to me as an alternative the the screw lock plugs. I have to say, now that Ive used them, I cant imagine going back. No screwdriver needed, easy to use, looks great. Recommended.

I like these plugs. When installed they feel secure, easy to install and relatively inexpensive. Since the original purchase, I have bought additional sets.

I only use these on my stereo I have not had a short yet
