Like i said dont know if its necessary for subs, and amazon has a cord built direct male to 2 males as well if youre setting up your system. I cant come to a consensus if it does anything, but its good material and feels sturdy.

I review things after Ive had the product for some time. I encourage others to do the same. I believe Its more fair to the buyer. Although these are not Audiophile grade cables these are, after all, Y cables. Y cables are never used for the discriminating listener. However, these cables suit my needs just fine. No discernible noise that Im aware of. They feel durable. They do not have the Herculean grip that the Monster Cables have but they do have an appropriate amount of grip when you join the cables together. My use was for a dual sub-woofer output function so its performance and function was perfect for me. And they are a much more affordable alternative to purchasing a new unit to satisfy this need.

I ordered this Y-adapter to be used with one of my subwoofers to attach to the subwoofer cable going to my amplifier. The construction, quality and fitment of the connector is excellent! I have decided that Mediabridge is going to be my go to place for all my electronic connection needs and will be recommending them to all my family, friends, relatives, associates, etc.!
