> 3 dayMy sub was humming so I replaced my old RCA cable with this one. The humming went away at the volume the sub is currently at. If I turn the volume up completely it will hum slightly but not enough to bug me.

> 3 dayI recently purchased two new subwoofers and was dismayed that they both had a low frequency hum whenever they were powered on. After hours of trying different things (rerouting AC and signal cables, changing placement, etc.), I started doing some research. I felt like I had tried everything and then found these cables. Ordered and the cables arrived quickly and appeared very high quality. Upon installation, the hum is gone! For a very low, reasonable cost, you should just buy these. They work! A+++++++++

> 3 dayI have now purchased three cables that carry the Mediabridge name. They all work very well. Two are subwoofer cables. I did decide to give four stars instead of five for this cable, although 4.5 would probably be more accurate. The newest cable has a very tight connection with the sub. A firm connection is of course important, but it is very tight - almost too tight. It is difficult to attach and remove and I do not like to place that much push and pull on an expensive brands jack. Otherwise, much like the first Mediabridge cables I purchased it works great and was a very good price. I have used Monster brand and other cables and will likely continue to buy this brand over the others. Highly recommended.
