I have used this cable for video recordings from our Canon XL1 camcorder to our DVD recorder for HD quality. That is why we ordered this second cable from Amazon.com for our Ministry in Nigeria,Africa to use. This cable is double shielded so you will not get any noise in your video signal. We use this exact type of cable for our audio recording only that it has XLR connectors instead of RCA connectors. Again so the audio signal will be noise free. We upgraded our Video Camera from a Canon XL1 to a Canon XF105. I recommend this type of cable for its quality and excellent price.
