> 3 dayThis cable is heavy duty, very well made for the price. I have no doubt it will last me many years. Sound quality i cant really comment as the only other sub cable i have is a rocketfish. They are both built very well, sound the same, and the mediabridge is much cheaper.

> 3 dayThe cable is thick and seemingly durable, provides a very secure connection and seems to send a somewhat stronger signal to my subwoofer than the generic cable I had been using. I found myself having to turn my subwoofer down about 10% to keep it from drowning out the mid & high frequencies. I dont think it actually improved the quality of sound from the subwoofer (or if it did it was negligible) but it definitely seemed to bump the volume of it, possibly thanks to the gold plating which my other cable lacked. I never noticed any signal interference with my other generic cable before, but I definitely have more peace of mind with this one thanks to its thicker shielding around the copper wire. There are some who will try to convince you that subwoofer cables (and speaker cables) running north of $100 or even $200 are going to get you superior performance and audio quality, and theyre lying to you. Heres what this cable has that my generic cable did not: gold plating for conductivity, a connector designed for maintaining a secure connection, and thick shielding around the copper. Theres not much else you can ask of a subwoofer cable that will have any noticeable benefit. Please do not waste your money; this cable has every feature that actually matters. Any perceived benefit of a $100+ cable is an expensive placebo effect.

> 3 dayHigh quality electrical connection at a reasonable price. Perfect connection for the .1 portion of 5.1 & 7.1 surround sound. Well Insulated with pliable rubber around a generous gauge of copper for low resistance and finely stranded wire for good flexibility. Highly recommended

> 3 dayI was using a standard RCA connector and was getting a small humming from the subwoofer. Not bad, but noticeable. I moved the old RCA connector away from the power cords at the back of the receiver to help somewhat. I installed this with the additional shielding and the hum is gone regardless of proximity to the power cords. I only needed to run 4, so the signal strength decay was not an issue, even with the cheap RCA connector that I originally used.

> 3 dayI was not sure when i saw this cable the only thing i could compare it to was monster and rocketfish cable that i used before. I have to say that i am impress with this cable the quality of this great and for the price you cant beat it. Works well with my home theater my sub woofer is happy you can tell by the sound. Also if you have or plan to install a sub and have a long run meaning that the sub is across the room away from you amp like i do. Mediabridge makes long sub cable for a lot less compare to other big brand names.
