Mehron Makeup Coagulated Blood Gel | Fake Blood Makeup | SFX Makeup for Halloween 1 oz (28 g)

This looks and behaves a lot like real blood and was thus perfect for our scary Halloween costumes. It comes in a small bottle, a little goes a very long way, and it makes for spectacular results especially if youre going as a vampire, monster shark, or other scary, blood-drinking creature. Relatively easy to remove, it did not stain our skin or become thin over the course of the evening. I have enough to get me through a lot more costume parties but will definitely repurchase when needed for future creepy creature looks at Halloween.

Smelled awful, but it gave a nice shine and fresh blood look. Didnt hold the shine past a few hours though and its very thick.

I used this product to add some gore to a cosplay item I was working on. I wanted to give something an old wound look to it, but not be too runny as it was going to be in some fake fur. The product is EXTREMELY thick, like molasses. Applying it is somewhat difficult at first but you will quickly get the hang of it. The one thing I did not realize is that it will take an EXTREMELY long time to dry. This is good if youre doing something that is SFX and want it to appear still wet and fresh, but if youre looking for something longer term you might want to try a different product. I was able to get a semi-dry state that was still a bit tacky after a week and a half with a very thin layer. It got the job done! my experience is most likely more from the lack of knowledge on my part rather than the product itself. Mehron continues to impress!

I am so in love with this coagulated blood gel! Ive used two other brands of runny, basic blood and those are great for fresh, flowing blood but the Mehron Coagulated Blood Gel is FANTASTIC for coating the inside of an open wound! It stays exactly where you put it and doesnt run or drip at all unless you use a ton of it. In the attached picture I used the coagulated gel for inside the wound and regular blood for the drippy parts running down from the wound. The coagulated blood is a perfect shade and texture for thick, clotted blood.

This stuff is crazy realistic and works really well for replicating head wounds.

This is a good formula. Its not too thick like scab blood, but it also doesnt run into drips. It just kind of stays where you put it. The color is also really true to actual blood. The only thing is that it dries kind of quick, which gives it a film on the top and it loses its shine and gets wrinkles. Not a huge deal, just for upclose pictures, but overall, nice for fast costumes.

I used this in a photoshoot for around the mouth and cheekbones- it looks extremely natural and lasted for hours. Easy to wash off and minimal staining. It is VERY sticky- gives the perfect coagulated blood look. Even held on after getting in water!
