I have used this umbrella a couple times now and it has been great. Beautiful colors and protects me just fine in drizzle. Plus it came with a great little carry sheathe with a strap. I have not have the opportunity to use it in a down pour, but it doesnt feel like it would survive a heavy wind...which none of my umbrellas really ever have...so cant really fault that.

Mechanical opening device is broken upon inception. After receiving umbrella, with great pressure I was able to open it 1 time and then the mechanical leaver was inoperable. I should have bought the manual umbrella.

Bummed I waited so long to open this. Not only did the umbrella not come assembled (you have to manually hook each of the prongs into the material), but the parts are so cheap that they hardly work. Terrible waste of money.

Sturdiest umbrella I’ve had!! And I get so many compliments! It’s an umbrella ... why not have fun with it :p

I purchased this for my daughter who identifies as part of and supports LGTBQ+ people. She really wanted a rainbow umbrella. This does not fold down compact. Its almost five feet tall and does not collapse. That said, it has at least twice as many supports in the canopy of the umbrella as any other I could examine. I found other rainbow umbrellas at less cost but they clearly were not as well made. We have serious wind gusts here in the Portland area and I also wanted something which would stand up to those for her. This wont leave room for her friends to walk next to her umbrella on a standard sidewalk but they can stand under it with her and comfortably walk together. Its wide enough to cover two people comfortably, three if not moving fast or at all and standing very close together. Shes had no issues with the umbrella trying to take flight or invert in the wind gusts as the collapsing umbrellas always do. She took an extra step, at my recommendation, to spray the topside of the umbrella fabric with shoe water repellant to make doubly sure she stayed dry. We also have brief, heavy rainfalls where the streets flood temporarily...not typical rainfall so an extra layer of protection was a good thing. I definitely recommend this umbrella in this or whatever hue you prefer. Its very well made and in a pinch can double as a defense weapon possibly. Unlike most umbrellas today, this one curves straight down, ending about the waist area, rather than ending out at a declining angle making slanted rainfall pelt away at your as if you had no umbrella at all. As I said, this is a well-made umbrella.

Ours arrived with the black tip broken, but we taped it up with electrical tape and used it anyway for a photo shoot. Its really big and has beautiful, bright colors.

Beautiful large umbrella. My daughter loved it. However, the cap on the end was broken.

This opens like a standard umbrella by pressing down on a lever. But this umbrellas lever is covered by a 2 inch piece of plastic which doesnt usually line up with the lever. I have to fuss and fuss with it to finally get it open. It can take 30 seconds fussing to get it open which is very annoying. If I had been able to try this out in a store, I never would have bought it for $26. I now regret throwing out the box and not returning as soon as I discovered this defect. Its very pretty but that doesnt make up for it.

Great umbrella, get lots of compliments on it, but gets 4 out of 5 because the wrist strap broke immediately. Would buy again

The handle is bent. The umbrella sits on a tilt because its defective. Furious. This was what I got myself for Christmas. Very, very uncool.
