Melissa & Doug Barn Buddies Hand Puppets, Set of 6 (Cow, Sheep, Horse, Duck, Chicken, Pig)

I bought these puppets for my granddaughters birthday. . She is 3. She loved them. Her big sister loved them too. She is 9. She was just as happy as the 3 year old. They are well made. It comes with a little cardboard stage for the kids to use for imaginative play. I ordered the barnyard set. The puppets are big enough it covers their hand and most of the forearm. I will order the safari set for the older sister for her birthday. These are great gifts.

We thought you could open and close the mouths. Thats how they appear in the pictures. Guess we were wrong. Thats the whole reason we chose these ones. Disappointed, but they are cute. Too small for my hands , but fit my childrens good

With their oversize soft squishy heads and tiny little arms they are a bit cumbersome, but I manage to put on some daily epic renditions of old MacDonald that my son loves. He’s actually just starting to put his hand in them, still he prefers me to do the singing and acting much to his never ending joy. Good craftsmanship, everything stitched tightly nicely, good designs, no fear of anything coming loose or chewed off and easily washable- (light sink washing with cold water. I think that’s what they recommend I didn’t read the directions on washing). The box can also be used as a backdrop/stage but I just keep them laying around for an impromptu singalongs as needed. We definitely recommend as a full set of animals for as I mentioned Old McDonald’s is an absolute staple of all infant and toddler sing-alongs.

Puppets are well made and quality materials - hours of fun play for young children. I love the selection of animals included.

It is much larger than I expected. Its definitely soft and quality made. My son loves it. We even travel with a few of them and ask us to put on his hands. If your child loves animals as much as ours, this is a must have. Im happy with this purchase.

These are adorable. Very cute but not what I was looking for. I did not realize that the mouths did not open. I am returning them. UPDATE!!! I kept them and my year old grandson loves them!!!!!!
