    We have a previous version of this chef puppet that has been used to death so we ordered a new one to replace it. I was expecting the same puppet but its obviously a newer version and its terrible. The puppets face is miss-sharpen, the hands look really weird, the mustache is on the inside of the mouth and its really uncomfortable to use. The eyes and nose protrude into the inside of the puppet and really hurt your fingers when you try to work the mouth. Definitely a big step down in quality. Bring back the old version!

    We ordered this puppet for my children, as my husband has always wanted to have a nice collection of puppets. The Melissa & Doug puppets are really impressive- they are well made for a decent price. The chef in particular is a favorite. We just love the way he looks. It is easy to make the puppet have hilarious expressions and there is a stick attached to one arm, so you can move one hand, which is fun for my kids. They seem pretty durable, but we dont leave that up to chance, as we store them up and away from my kids and only bring them out every few months as a special treat. I think that treating them this way, they will last for years to come.
