Melissa & Doug Colorful Fish Wooden Chunky Puzzle (8 pcs)

I bought this for my 20month old daughter ! She absolutely loves playing with the fishes and she doesnt even know shes learning her colors and working on expanding her sentences. I am a speech therapist and this is great for building vocabulary as well as their association skills. I strongly recommend getting this puzzle.

Got this puzzle for my son’s first birthday and he loves it! The pieces are nice and chunky and he loves grabbing them and playing with them. He’s obviously too young to match them to their color, but it’s a perfect toy to grow with him. It looks just like the description. Would recommend and purchase again.

Overall, the puzzle is well made and OK, but quality control should have caught the flaw where the blue fish goes on the base. Part of the blue area is missing. When paying money for anything, one would hope that it’s looked over very carefully before shipping it to the customer. I will keep the puzzle, but I had to color the spot with a blue marker because it didn’t look right, and my grandson kept picking at it because he noticed the flaw too. I agree with another reviewer that the orange and red fish should have been separated a bit more to avoid confusion. They are very close in color.

I LOVE this puzzle! I was going to buy the other Melissa and Doug color fish puzzle but then I read reviews how all the fish are the same size and shape, so a child can place it anywhere and it will seem correct. With this puzzle, every fish is a different shape and size. The colors are vibrant and the illustration is cute. I love that they are all facing onwards towards a heart! My 18 month old son is OBSESSED!

My daughter loves the fish. But the colors under the fish are a little off. The color under the red fish is supposed to be red, but it’s more of a red orange. Closer in color to the orange fish then the red one.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves this puzzle! It’s chunky and very sturdy and she loves learning her colors with grandma! It was a great purchase!

Thick and very chunky puzzle pieces. I love this puzzle it has bright and fun colors too. My children love this!

This is a great toy. My grandson is 2 and loves doing this puzzle. I say the colors of each fish as he puts them in place. I was so surprised when he picked up the purple fish a couple days ago and said purple before I could say it. So he is having fun learning colors. Love it

I bought many puzzles, this one is my favorite! My daughter is 5 yrs old, but on a 1 yr old level with special needs. She loves this puzzle!! Thanks for making it!!
