> 24 hourMy 8 month old really enjoys this toy. But today it broke. A chunk of wood around the top broke off. I bought this shorty after his birth and he has only been playing with this for about a month.

> 24 hourI purchased this toy for my 18 month old nephew and it is one of his favorites at the moment. Those familiar with Melissa & Doug toys know the kind of quality that comes with most of their products and this one did not disappoint.

> 24 hourIm a big Melissa and Doug fan but this is really poor quality from them. It came covered with splinters and glue spots. I have to take sandpaper to it. The only reason its not going back is because my daughter is obsessed with all things Pooh.

> 24 hourThis shape sorter is one of the worst I have seen. I like that it is wood (I love wooden toys) but even the quality of the wood is not very good, the wood splinters in several places, and there was a fairly strong glue odor when I first opened it. The side that opens up to get the shapes out slides out very easily, there is nothing holding it in place while you are dropping the shapes in from the different sides, so it keeps falling out whenever you turn the cube. So when your child tries to turn the cube to the next side to put the blocks in, it just slides open and everything falls out. Very poor design and frustrating to play with. Save your money and buy one of the better shape sorters out there. This one is going straight to the donation pile.

> 24 hourDidnt like this one bit. The actual toy is much smaller than what it seems on this picture. The wooden edges are sharp. The lid is so sharp, my son hurt himself. The runner on which teh lid is supposed to slide on, is not painted so small wooden splinters can easily hurt the child. Now coming to how functional this toy is. The grooves are not cut out properly, so a child can never insert the shapes well. Overall, I wouldnt put my money into this toy

> 24 hourYou get what you pay for here. My daughter loves playing with it, the lid (poohs face) slides off very easily, even if knocked over. Some of the shapes are cut sloppy. Overall it is similar to what I was looking for.
