Melissa & Doug Get Well Doctor’s Kit Play Set – 25 Toy Pieces - Doctor Role Play Set, Doctor Kit For Toddlers And Kids Ages 3+

This is the best doctor kit I have found in 3 years of searching. The stethoscope doesn’t fall off like most other kits, which my daughter loves. There’s so many pieces, which makes playing last so much longer.

Bought this for my just turned 5 year old who loves playing doctor. He’s had 2 other brands of doctors kits and this one is by far the most comprehensive with everything from the doctor name tag to the tongue depressors, eye chart and eye cover, diet chart, vitamins/pills containers, Velcro bandages, and doctors bag that can actually fit everything without struggling and the top has a Velcro closure (clean up is more like throwing everything in there so it’s so nice that it all fits even when it’s just stuffed in). It would be nice if the instruments lit up (like another doctors set we have) but it doesn’t bother him and he plays with this set more than our other doctor sets —so much so that he agreed to donate his other doctor sets to other children so they can enjoy playing doctor too. He loves the thermometer that moves when you roll it across your forehead and the blood pressure cuff that has the dial that moves when you pump it up and he loves making and prescribing medicines using the various bottles and the medical container with lid. My child loves to practice on all of us as well as his stuffed animals. It keeps him occupied for around 45 minutes at a time. My child also gets very upset when he has to go to the doctor for his own drs check up, so this doctors set has helped him understand what to expect and how all the different instruments work so that he’s not as apprehensive (though it doesn’t help if he has to get a shot, understandably!). He got this as a Christmas gift and he said it was his favorite gift out of everything received. Would definitely buy again!

Bought for 3 year nephew.. we played with him throughout Christmas vacation and he was not bored for a minute and it entertained adults too

Ordered this for our almost 3 year old to keep him doing something during the covid19 quarantine. He loves it so much that we play with it multiple times per day. Great kit that comes with a lot of stuff :)

Very comprehensive. Comes with a decent carrying bag that is convenient for storage. My 3yr old loves it and hasnt managed to accidentally break something yet. I call it a win.

Not good choices on the type of toys inside the dr kit.

I have never felt more compelled to write a review for this manufacturer before. Dont rest on your laurels, M & D. I asked my husband to go to the store and buy this Melissa and Doug Doctor Kit because our 4 year old granddaughter wanted to play doctor and I usually like M & D toys. Not this time. For $29.00 could the bag for the kit been made 2 inches bigger and with some structure added? Could the (2) 1/2 inch pieces of Velcro been a little bigger to hold it closed? What were they thinking? My 4 year old who has great dexterity, and as for myself, I also have dexterity, cannot put the items that came in the kit back into the Doctor Bag without complete struggle and frustration. Oh, if you think that is not big deal, then why have a bag to carry, store items, or play doctor? Cheesy on their part and from now on I will open in the car and return immediately if not satisfied with future purchases (before the kids see the items that I want to give them).

Melissa & Doug have changed what is included in this kit, but have not updated Amazon or their own website to reflect the changes. They no longer include the canister and lid for the tongue depressors, and they have removed the velcro from the bag. The activity cards and bottles also no longer have any words or descriptions printed on them. This makes it hard to know what they are supposed to be. I contacted Mellisa & Doug because I was worried that I had accidentally gotten a knock-off version, and their customer support emailed me back saying that the lates version doesnt include these items any longer. Despite that fact that both the Melissa & Doug website and Amazon are advertising them like they do.

Melissa and Doug never disappoints! The items were plastic but very cute! We bought this as a companion to the get well center. My future doctor (4 year old daughter) loves it!
