When this works, I give it 5 stars - both my 4.5 and my 1.5 year old (who I got it for) enjoy it -- lots of buttons to press, levers to turn, gears to move, etc. Im an analog person, but I didnt mind the noises, which the kids enjoyed. It has 4 radio stations that each play a different type of tune, which my son enjoyed dancing to.

The toy came and i tried pushing all the buttons and nothing. Unpackaged it and found you need to put batteries in it. That being said if its for Christmas get some double A batteries bc mine didnt come with any. The best part of the toy is the “timer” dial that goes off on the side reminds me of the old kitchen timers my toddler will love that countdown feature. Also its compact enough to take in the car and they can pretend to drive with you!

We got this for my son’s 2nd birthday. He played with it that day but then didn’t show an interest, until we took it in the car. Now, it stays in the car and he periodically asks to “drive my car” while I’m driving (short and long trips). I’m not a big fan of electronic/powered gifts, but this leverages the sounds to provide an enhanced experience (not like other toys that use sound to incessantly prompt the kid to do something or draw them back in). This really was a good purchase.

Bought for a 2 year old. She didn’t show too much interest at first but does play with it now. My 1 1/2 year old grandson loves it too.

First one stopped working, the replacement has a super loud squeaky wheel. But 2 year old likes it. Music only plays for a second, which is disappointing. Mostly impressed with Melissa and Doug but not this product. Cheaply made and overpriced.

In trying to put off video games, I got this for my 6-year old. He loves the cool features like the “radio” and the picture of the car moving on the road while the child steers, and of course the key that turns.
