> 24 hourThis label maker only works for me while plugged in. Otherwise it is great. The app works. Set up time is minimal. Download, pair and print in under 3 minutes. Works as expected. Lots of options for labels. Labels stick well to many surfaces. Very pleased.

> 24 hourThis label maker was really easy to set up once the app was downloaded and printing my first label with it was very easy and straightforward. The labels come out nicely, quality is great with sharp text / icons and the size was perfect for home organization. I also like how this comes with 3 set of tapes, which will last me quite a long time.

> 24 hourThis is a decent thermal label maker thats fairly versatile with respect to its ability to let you create all sorts of labels with imagination is the only limitation (well, a bit of exaggeration here). The App is available ONLY for mobile devices which is a bit disappointing and I wish its also available for PC/Mac as well just so I have the options there. A total of 3x 14mm x 30mm rolls are included (pink, transparent, and white). This is different than the usual 12mmx40mm that most other Q30s label makers (from other brands of the same product) include though. For those who are curious, the mobile App (Print Master) requires the following permission on your device; --- ≡ Device & app history Retrieve running apps ≡ Location Approximate location (network-based) Precise location (GPS and network-based) ≡ Phone Read phone status and identity ≡ Photos/Media/Files Read the contents of your USB storage Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage ≡ Storage Read the contents of your USB storage Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage ≡ Camera Take pictures and videos ≡ Microphone Record audio ≡ Wi-Fi connection information View Wi-Fi connections ≡ Device ID & call information Read phone status and identity ≡ Other View network connections Pair with bluetooth devices Access bluetooth settings Control flashlight Full network access Run at startup Control vibration Prevent device from sleeping --- The label design App (Print Master) is pretty decent and would most likely allow you to design your label without issues with its free-form approach (i.e. layout is not limited to specific type of objects) and its initiative to use for the most part especially if you are experienced with label makers before. In addition, it also has a ton of pre-built labels (i.e. One-click print) for some of the most common categories such as flavoring, fruits, veggies, cleaning products, food, and medicine etc. The print quality like most others that support 203 DPI is sufficiently fine, knowing exactly what these printers (i.e. thermal based) are capable of or rather, incapable of. Its 203 DPI print head is very much the average/standard of these label nowadays. It supports labels of width from 12mm to 15mm but most optimized for 12mm and the print head has a service life of roughly 50KM worth of labels. It can be powered by either 4x AAA or USB-C; would be better though if this is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. All in all, this is a fairly decent mini thermal label maker and its relatively reasonably priced at $48 for what it provides, overall features, and capabilities.

> 24 hourLove how easy this is to use. I just bought extra labels from same manufacturer, about 2x the length. I noticed they were rolled so the sticker is on the underside of the roll. The labels that came with the printer were rolled so the sticker was on the outside of the roll. I was able to insert the roll upside down so the label was facing the print head. I was relieved that it worked. The printer shuts itself off if it is idle for a while, which is great since it takes 4 AAA batteries.

> 24 hourVery cute little compact printer. It is powered with 4 AAA batteries (not included) and comes with...the printer, USB cable, and 3 rolls of printer paper; one roll is white, the other transparent and the last one is yellowish. To use the printer you have to place the paper roll inside, batteries inserted if you wish to operate the printer via batteries. You can operate the printer with the cable plugged in to a power supply. Bonus if your batteries die. You need to download their app. Really easy to find and to use. Be sure to choose the proper paper roll format when wanting to print. The dimensions...or numbers are written on the side of the paper sticker rolls. It coordinates the size of the sticker and determines the space allowed for the text you wish to place on the labels. The rolls are made of precut stickers, one after another. meaning its not a continuous roll of one sticker. The thermal printer is precise. Be sure to properly install the roll at the aperture of the printer. The part coming out has to match the metal teeth that act at cutting the paper label backing once printed. Nice compact label maker to have around. Quick easy and fast.

> 24 hourI had given up on getting the photo part to work. Then someone mentioned the image differences.. so when I tried a low quality screen shot vs a photo from my camera.. the pictures loaded. Be aware that there is too small for a qr code to read I find that this is the easiest size to work every time it is scanned. For the price its not too shabby but I had nearly given up on the main feature I purchased it for. But... once you figure it out, its pretty nifty.

> 24 hourThe Q30S label maker is very compact and light but well-built and fairly attractive. One thing of note: this one does not have an internal rechargeable battery like the D30 or many other label printers. You will need to power it by either using 4 AAAs (not included) or through a USB-C to USB-A cable (one is included but is very short) connected to a wall charger (not included). On one hand, this makes this printer less practical but on the other, it probably means it will last longer because internal batteries tend to weaken and become ineffective with time. The box includes 3 rolls of 14mm x 30mm adhesive vinyl labels: a white (already in the printer), a salmon pink and a clear one. It requires the Print Master app which connects to the printer through Bluetooth. The app has a simple and intuitive interface and offers some basic design options in Lite Mode (various typefaces, text direction, fonts size adjustment, left-aligned, centred or right-aligned text, Bold, Italic or Underline and several downloadable typefaces) or more complex options in Creation Mode, including the use of icons, geometric shapes, QR and barcodes and some very helpful layout tools like aligning and centering. Its pretty impressive and among the best apps for label printers. The label maker can only print in black and uses thermal transfer so there is no actual ink. The advantages are that there is no need to wait for the ink to dry, it does not smudge and is always sharp. The printing is also very fast, almost instantaneous but is not very high-resolution and there is a bit of noticeable pixelation on fonts and graphics with curves. The label is water- and tear-resistant and its adhesive is strong enough to stay in place even on glass but, if needed, can still be peeled off and repositioned on non-porous surfaces. The clear label is especially nice because of its see-through nature. It looks great on glass jars and metal containers. Overall, this label maker works very well and can be pretty handy for small businesses or even around the house for anything from price tags to storage boxes to document folders to spice jars. At around $57, this model which includes 3 rolls is fairly priced but its refills are not very cheap - around $20 for a pack of 3 rolls. However, the PrintMaster app is a great, fully-featured app that is among the top of its class and that alone makes the Q30S a better buy than the competition. If you prefer a version with an internal rechargeable battery then I would recommend the slightly bigger D30 which also uses the same app.

> 24 hourI tried, I honestly tried. There is a trail of wasted labels from me trying to get this to work. I tried over and over to adjust the labels so they print in the right spot, It didnt matter. Ive never had such an issue trying to get a labeler to work, I have a collection of labelers. I use them regularly for price tags for my business so I know how to set them up and troubleshoot, I simply could not get this one to work. I have to assume that this one is defective, Its a shame because the app is easy to use and it came with 3 rolls of label tape.

> 24 hourThis is a fun little product Christmas package labels just got a little boost this year around my house. I haven’t bought any additional rolls for this one yet but I will. This is great for labeling small jars of spices, boxes or whatever you can set your mind to. One roll goes a long way but one of the main things I like about this and will be ordering, are the clear labels. Since this is a thermal printer, it uses a special paper and there’s no ink. No ink means no mess. However, it is printing in black and white. It can even print pictures. The pictures aren’t great but you can generally tell what the image is. Since the label is longer than it is tall, you may need to play around with it a bit to get it to come out looking the way you want it. It is amazing that something this small can so simply print out labels of various types. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket or laptop bag. This uses an app on your phone and pairs with no problem. The unit is powered by either batteries or USB. The only improvement would have been installing rechargeable batteries. It will run without any batteries installed but will need a USB power cable connected to it.
