> 3 dayThis messenger bag is very nice looking and has a solid appearance. The majority of the bag is a heavy cloth- it looks like denim but a heavier weave, similar to what Carhartt outerwear is made of- I think its called cotton duck. The color is very dark navy- almost black. Contrast stitching is orange. The leather accents are nice and give it an upscale feel, but the text on the front leather panel is a bit odd. It says, KAUKKO VINTAGE BUT UNIQUE WITH ECO-FRIENDLY CANVAS (CASUAL STYLE) BE YOURSELF, BE FASHION SINCE 1994, CHINA I took off one star for this strange translation. The bag has a ton of pockets, including the front pocket that has two large faux buckle closures but actually closes with large gauge snaps. This pocket has two parts: one section has a zipper and the other is quite deep but does not zip closed. The zipper pocket on the back of the bag is not quite deep enough for a cell phone. The main compartment is 9.5 inches tall and about 7.5 inches wide, and it measures about 3 inches across the bottom from back to front. All the hardware has a nice antique brass finish. The shoulder strap is adjustable and made of wide cotton canvas.

18-11-2024These are superbly made and will definitely be able to handle the wear and tear administered by my husband. My personal disappointment is the lack of out side open pockets and the bulkiness weight from the top quality canvas material. Still gets 5 stars!
