> 24 hourreceived as a gift. i find it difficult to use. put a picture card in it and the quality was bad. not entirely sure that I dont have a defective product. going to get rid of it via garage sale or goodwill. maybe some techi type will enjoy exploring its guts or some such thing or can make it work where I cant. Recipes are few that I personally would make. Yuk, yuk!

> 24 hourI got this unit at a bargain price [~US $50] and I am happy with that. It works well as a digital picture frame with audio. For the price I paid I would say it is as good as other similar frames. I have not tried adding my own videos yet but I suspect it will play them alright since the recipe books clips are OK.

> 24 hourI have had this since Christmas (now 3 months old) when my mother purchased this for me as a gift. Two of my other family members have this already, and she knew I would like it. She was correct. The photo frame/video player is just as good as any of the others I own (GPX, Coby, Polaroid, and Pan Digital). The video quality and sound quality is very adequate to guide you through the recipes on a step by step basis. The remote makes it easy for you to back up and go forward in the slide show presentations. I also like the ability to move it without having it plugged in. This unit comes with a rechargable battery pack. Unlike other reviewers, I have had no issues with sound being to soft, or video being poor/fuzzy, nor had any problems with things breaking, and I use mine a few times a week, and many times just as a photo frame. I have since purchase four additional SD book cards with no problems, and a ton more recipes. I highly recommend this to someone who wants an updated take on cook books and likes gadgets also.

> 24 hourGreat item. Easy to use. You choose your recipe and begin. You watch a demonstation and pause between the steps as you follow along. You can purchase additional disks to expand your recipe library.

> 24 hourthis product is not bad i do think there is some work that needs to be done. the sound is very soft. there is a speaker jack but it is on the bottom so it is of no use. i would recommend waiting for the next generation.

> 24 hourI got my miBook cooking kit for $38 on a super clearance and the SD cards for $6.99. Its working great so far. I wasnt expecting too much given the deep discount but for what I paid I think its great. The 300+ recipes were worth the price alone. I think the good thing about this product is that it does make following a recipe much easier and interesting. I must admit, however, that I would have returned it immediately if I had paid the full asking price. The graphics are a bit old-school. I was expecting much higher quality there but for the price I paid, Ill be glad if it continues working long enough for a good ROI, and I dont have any of the issues the others described.
