I printed out the wiring diagram for a dometic 13.5 air cond which made installation go well. After running the learning cycle I can run generator on economy and it will fire up the air with no issues.

This is a fantastic product. Im so happy we purchased it. It really seems to have helped run our RV AC without popping the breaker at our house and it ran great on our Honda 2200i generator. Great supplemental information for installation. It included everything we needed!

Wow, this thing really works on my Keystone Passport 171EXP Travel Trailer. The directions were easy to follow. I removed the previous hard start that I had and wow it worked. With the generator, you cant notice its really running. I was able to change the 15amp breaker on my shore power source to 20amp and have had no problems running the AC. Last summer it was all about gassing up two generators, this summer, no gas, just turn it on and relax. What a great product. Why dont they install these are the RV factory????

My Honda EU2200i would not start the 13,500 BTU A/C unit on my RV- but it will now. The compressor invariably tripped the overload protector on the generator, but now the draw never goes above about 2100 watts, for a second or so, to start the thing. Hooray! The current then settles down to about 1350 watts. The MicroAir Easy Start came with all the hardware I needed for installation. I watched a video online, printed out instructions specific to my Coleman unit, climbed up onto the roof of the RV, and spent about 20 minutes putting the thing in. Highly recommend.

This far, we cannot say enough good things regarding their product or customer service. Especially their customer service! They were fantastic! We tried to cancel order because item would not arrive in time for when we needed it. They got right on it and had it out to us right away and it arrived 2 day before we were heading out in our trip. It was a very easy install. Has been working fabulously.

I installed this on my Furrion camper AC so I could power it with my generator without full hookup 30 amp shore power. It works just fine. As usual there is an excellent video on YouTube showing how to install this although the video simplifies the install and skips some painful details. There are 14 screws to be removed to remove the AC cover. Then there are 9 difficult to remove screws holding in the capacitor and you need a long magnetic screwdriver for this since the capacitor is in a small metal box with metal cover jammed with wiring. Easy start has a website where you can download the wiring diagram with install instructions for your unit although its difficult to find exactly what you need, ie a full page diagram and you should be able to read a wiring diagram. The metal box fully encloses the capacitor so its impossible to reinstall the cover because theres no hole in the box to insert the Easy start wiring. Not a major problem however. Then you need to be able to splice wiring, cut a wire or two etc. Make sure all the splicing and connectors are solid and secure and wont come loose since the AC unit is open to the air as you move down the road and subject your wiring job to vibration and high winds. The only real downside to all this is if you plan to use a so called battery only generator it will only power the AC for about an hour before running out of power. A gasoline powered generator will of course give you unlimited power for as long as you have enough gasoline to keep it running.

Bought and installed two. Installed in 15k BTU Coleman Mach 15 units. One with heat pump. That was was a little tight. Both learned and work perfectly. Fantastic customer service from Hutch Mountain. Install kit was handy to have.
