We dry camp a great deal and have always used a generator when AC is absolutely necessary. While our generator was of sufficient size it a heavy load on the generator and we found ourselves often in situations when we could plug into 20 amp connections. This upgrade fit the bill for both! Quick and easy to install, great instructions and a helpful app that lets you know how the learning process is going and real time start up amps beyond. Highly recommend, just wish we didnt wait so long to add this to our RV AC unit!

Hutch Mountain got me my unit very quick. With the instructions they provided I was able to install it myself with confidence on my Coleman ac unit. The kit included all the connections including some pretty nifty connectors. I am now able to run my ac on my one Yamaha 2000. I am so pleased with Hutch Mountain and the way they engineered both the unit and the direction’s they provided. One thing I should mention is I had to drill a hole to pass the wiring harness through, the kit provided a grommet though.

This product is amazing. It took longer to get my tools up on the coach roof than it did to install the device. Same with the 5 start learning cycles connected to shore power. I watched a couple youtube videos prior to starting install. Not only does this allow my 2000w inverter hooked to solar and battery array to start and run the ac with zero overload, it has dramitically reduced the ac noise level. Would recommend this product to anyone interested in using less power or smaller gen or battery inverter.

You may be able to get the unit cheaper on manufacturer website be sure to check. It works as its supposed to. I had it added by the dealer before I bought the trailer so cant rate the installation. Will revisit this review in a year to see if it is still working properly then.

I just finished installing the Micro-Air 364 Bluetooth, and I am amazed! My 2.5T American Standard residential heat pump compressor unit was pulling 60+ LRA (locked rotor amps) and was too much for the 30A/240V generator system in my 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid. With the 364 installed, the compressor now peaks at 16 LRA! We will now be able to run our home essentials in case of a power outage. Special thanks to Roger at Micro-Air! I sent an email with an installation question on a Sunday, not expecting to receive a reply until Monday at best. Not only did Roger reply within hours, but with simple and concise advice.

I wouldnt have thought it possible, but all the reviews and YouTube videos are accurate. After running the EasyStart through the learning process on shore power, the a/c was blowing cold with the 1600/2000 watt inverter generator in eco mode (not full throttle). I live near sea level, so Im curious how well it will work at altitude. Installation was a breeze. Micro-Air provides wiring directions on a multitude of a/c models. I found a YouTube that did a step-by-step installation on my specific a/c model, greatly simplifying the installation. Interestingly, connecting the Bluetooth monitor took the most time. The EastStart didnt appear in my phones bluetooth settings. I did not find bluetooth ID as shown in the Amazon product description. A second set of instructions that arrived a day later from Hutch Mountain, sent with the installation kit, shows were to find the bluetooth ID. In a couple of hours it was up and running. I can monitor its performance, and I have peace of mind, knowing that the Easy Start is reporting that all is well. Start-up amperage is 13.3 amps.
