Wanted the ability to run our coleman air-conditioned on a standard house hold circuit. Installation took under 10 min even standing on a ladder in 105 degree heat. Website had step by step videos for all major models. Had a stupid question so I messaged tech support on a Sunday. Recieved a call back in under 20 min. By then I had already figured out how stupid easy it was and finished the job. Still great service. Luck we installed before our trip. Ended up running our ac off a 15amp circuit at a relatives house worked perfect. Before installation we needed a 30amp circuit. 20amp worked for short periods but always tripped.

This company really thought about all that you would need and want to know to install this unit! Works great!

Received Microair Easystart 364 in 5 days - after being told it could take a couple of weeks. The customer service representative called twice to make sure I received the item. Also, really liked the phone recording... Keep it up guys..

It did not last a year,very close but not a year. Contacting the company that made it is impossible, no one answers the phone just recording after recording but no one to talk to. The recording states that your call is important to us but then no one to talk to. Amazon selects these companies to sell their us their products but will not warranty them. Home Depot warranties everything they sell whether they made it or not, why not Amazon?

Amazingly easy install for my Dometic AC! Made a simple mistake because I walked away and came back later. Sent a picture of the wiring and they told me my blunder without making me feel bad. Got it fixed quickly and now Im off to boondocking! With the included 3M sticky pad I didnt have to drill any holes. The wire connectors were SOOO easy to use too.

Micro-air soft start practically worthless if you can’t find legitimate instructions or diagrams. Good luck!

I installed this on my Furrion camper AC so I could power it with my generator without full hookup 30 amp shore power. It works just fine. As usual there is an excellent video on YouTube showing how to install this although the video simplifies the install and skips some painful details. There are 14 screws to be removed to remove the AC cover. Then there are 9 difficult to remove screws holding in the capacitor and you need a long magnetic screwdriver for this since the capacitor is in a small metal box with metal cover jammed with wiring. Easy start has a website where you can download the wiring diagram with install instructions for your unit although its difficult to find exactly what you need, ie a full page diagram and you should be able to read a wiring diagram. The metal box fully encloses the capacitor so its impossible to reinstall the cover because theres no hole in the box to insert the Easy start wiring. Not a major problem however. Then you need to be able to splice wiring, cut a wire or two etc. Make sure all the splicing and connectors are solid and secure and wont come loose since the AC unit is open to the air as you move down the road and subject your wiring job to vibration and high winds. The only real downside to all this is if you plan to use a so called battery only generator it will only power the AC for about an hour before running out of power. A gasoline powered generator will of course give you unlimited power for as long as you have enough gasoline to keep it running.
