I put this on 13500btu. I ran this with a generator and a plug. in both instances it made the AC not cool a 7x10 foot room. it was easier on the generator, it just would not get cool. I also tried to reset the unit back to stock, but still kept the AC restricted to much to use. so I took it off and it cools the room more than efficiently. I also did the turning on and off as the instructions indicated.

Works exactly as advertised and Hutch Mountain support is the best I’ve ever experienced. Sent them pix of my air conditioner from the roof and they called me back and walked me through the whole install. 20 minutes and working. We dropped to a 14.5 amp start surge, near 40 before. Love this product. We can choose 30 amp service and run both AIr Conditioners. Start the high current one first and then start the Micro Air unit.

What can I say? The fellas at Hutch Mountain are just the best. Sure, they run a well-oiled machine that delivers on time; but to me, the real value is their product knowledge and tech support. When I had questions regarding the installation, one of the owners answered the phone. He not only knew the products, but also provided great guidance. The Microair Easystarts work as promised. We can now run one of our RVs AC units on a 15A circuit or on our generator, or run both AC units on a 30A circuit. I like Hutch Mountain so much I also bought the Microair digital thermostat and the Honda generator propane conversion kit from them.

Very glad I installed this on my rig. Works like a charm! I can run my AC single Coleman Mach 3+ unit with my Honda 2200. It will even start on low. Was easy to install with the instructions that come with. There are several how to vids on Utube if you need extra help. Amazing product! If your on the fence, just do it, you’ll be glad you did.

Bought two and installed per instructions. This blue tooth function amazing watching power draw go down each cycle. Will run ac while boondocking Off my solar during day , EU 2000 at other times. Worth every penny.

While installing was a tedious process, I could do it without much problem. Lots of good documentation online, but a little tedious to follow. The device works as intended for starting the AC. However, I was extremely disappointed to discover that installing this device renders the fan-only or fan-always-on mode useless! The fan works only while the AC is running for my Dometic B57915 unit. While I previously would run the fan all the time, and the AC would kick on based on the thermostat, now the entire unit is either on or off. As a result, this makes for a crummy nights sleep when your night goes from quiet to loud and off again several times through the night. I would caution anyone with this concern, as this gotcha is not called out anywhere I could find online.
