I wanted to print some large parts (about 1.2kg total), with no detailed features, in carbon fiber PLA, as fast as possible. I used this nozzle with a 0.4mm layer height, 0.8mm width and the results were good. No noticeable wear and tear on the nozzle. I normally run PLA at 200c with 0.4mm brass nozzles, but had to bump it up to 230c, and drop the print speed to about 25mm/s (overall print time is still way shorter than a 0.4mm nozzle at 60mm/s). If you do the math, 25mm/s at 0.8mm is about the max a normal V6 heater block can melt. If you want to go faster, youll need a higher power heater. Great nozzle.

I purchased this to replace the standard brass nozzle that came with the microswiss extruder. I have printed with the hotend for some time and started printing carbon fiber polycarbonate. This material wore down the standard brass nozzle pretty bad so I ordered the MK8 plated M2 nozzle due to its wear properties with carbon fiber and because it touted superior non-stick properties. Well these properties didnt exist. I couldnt get anything to not stick to the nozzle, no matter how low I started my prints onto the build plate. Any little amount of material that curled up stuck and then it snowballed as the nozzle just attracted more and more material until the nozzle was encased in a ball. I tried the carbon fiber PC, and PLA all with the same results. I then tried the A2 hardened tool steel MK8 nozzle and had none of the material sticking to the nozzle. I am not sure what I was doing wrong or if my nozzle has a coating defect. I did receive two nozzles due to a shipment error on Amazons side and both nozzles appear to look the same, so not sure if there is coating and its just not working, or if there is something else going on.

Bought these when I decided to print some stuff using shine in the dark filament, but I wasnt expecting any real improvement in print quality. But these things are in a complete different league than regular brass nozzles. No clogging (knock on wood) and handle everything you can throw at them. I increased the printing temperature a bit, but Im not sure its really necessary in my case.

Worked for a day. I used petg and after that it went down hill. Everything would get stuck to the side of the nozzle and nothing would stick to the bed. I switched back to the cheap nozzle and all my problems where gone. I did everything to get it to work.

I’ve purchased many nozzles, from cheap to expensive high end nozzles. I purchased this product to go along with my micro Swiss all metal hotend upgrade to my new build. I thought I’d spend the money and get an overly priced hardened steel nozzle from them, believing it would work as well as their other products. I was disappointed. This nozzle was advertised to contain special coating that prevents sticking and clogging. As others mention, their normal nozzle that comes stock with hotend works better… I get clogs, filament sticks to the nozzle like it’s welded… it’s easier to remove filament from my 1 dollar nozzles from China… I really had high hopes for their product but it fell short of its promises. Maybe I didn’t get a good one as others have said maybe it’s luck or the draw, but I think that would boil down to poor quality control, or just a coating that isn’t durable and lasts. As far as nozzle diameter it’s really good and it did print… but the amount of build up on the sides was just not worth it for me. I have cheap steel nozzles from China that perform better.

works great, the only problem is you need a slightly bigger wrench than the stock creality nozzle

I think for what this is it didn’t work I bought this for specifically printing carbon fiber and it just stuck to it like glue and every time I had to stop the print eventually I figured out it was the tip and switched to the original and it worked fine. I don’t recommend buying this at all maybe I got a defective one but I wouldn’t risk it.

I have not printed enough filament to tell if these outlast other nozzles when printing abrasive filaments, but these (I bough the 0.6 and 0.4mm versions) are amazing. Not a single clog since I installed them, even when swapping between very dissimilar materials (temperature-wise). The exterior can be cleaned very easily as well. Excellent product.

Its a nozzle that pees on your bed. Works fine.

Installed easily and makes my GF nylon prints turn out super good without the worry of excessive nozzle wear.
