Midwest Hearth Natural Decorative Polished Black Pebbles 3/8 Gravel Size (2-lb Bag)

I am using the rocks as a decorative topping for my potted plants. They are shiny and washed.

Product was as described and came quickly. I love the shiney stones and they look great in my humidity tray. Would order again.

These rocks are exactly what I was looking for for my terrarium. My only issue is that the 2 lb bag wasn’t nearly as large as I was expecting from reading other reviews. My terrarium is 8.5” long x 6” wide and the 2lb bag filled it less than 1” high. I was aiming for about ~1.5” filled for drainage since I’m planing quite a few plants, so I went ahead and ordered another 5 lb bag. Would definitely recommend purchasing the 5 lb bag to begin with if you’re on the fence about how many you might need.

Needless to say I should have gotten a 10 lb bag which may or may not have covered the intended area. 5 lbs does not go very far. Ordered another 10 lb bag.

Worked great on our fire pit and had a much more modern vibe than black fire glass.

The pebbles are not going to disintegrate and will protect my succulents leaves from touching the soil, and thereby rotting.
