Miele AirClean 3D FJM Vacuum Cleaner Bags White 4 pack

I ordered these a while ago, but kept forgetting to come back and confirm that they work for our needs, as I imagine there are many people like me who THINK they might work for their vacuum and are trying to decide if its worth the cost to try them and see. I had to resort to buying these bags online because stores dont carry them anymore, at least near us. We bought this vacuum only a couple years ago--its amazing how quickly vacuum bags become unavailable altogether. *sigh* If you have a Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction PowerLine (see pictures I added with more details on the model and stuff) that indicates it uses size M bags, then these will work for you because they work for us. As with everything Miele, they are easy to use and install.

I was delighted to receive my OG Miele FJM FilterBags which is the fancy name of the dust bags with the red collar (I guess other models have other colors). Was a little bummed to see my package arrive squished. The container is a thin cardboard packaging material and the top part was scrunched, busting open some of the perforated label on the top. Not too much of a big deal to me, but for someone who takes sterility seriously and lean towards germaphobic, Id pause on this. Two of the three parts were compatible with my Miele Compact C2 Electroplus Powerline in Marin Blue. Dust bag, yes; Pre-motor filter, yes. The one that wasnt was the exhaust filter. The box itself recommends, a Miele HEPA AirClean filter (sold separately) for optimal filtration. The one I will need to replace is a HEPA AirClean 50 filter in white and what was provided in the box was a thin cloth filter material which appears to be compatible with S241 - S299 models. Wish I knew what I could do with this. Anyhow, Im overall content with my purchase as I needed it primarily for the dust bags.

Usual Miele quality and with the multiple filters on the machine, the exhaust could probably be directed into a NASA clean room while vacuuming up larvae-infested pastry flour. The bag fabric is, in this newest generation the best so far: breathes well, traps everything, fits well. It also fills fully, while maintaining flow and suction. However, the thing has a plastic coupler thats too thin, and that makes the initial closing of the lid difficult, sometimes requiring multiple attempts, manually re-centering the thing to achieve a real exact seal and closure. If Miele would reassess this coupler thing, to would be truly worth the money and the five star rating .

These are the original bags for your powerful Miele, dont go cheap please, if you have one of these you will know that these vacuum cleaners are one of the best in the market, they have two filters before the motor and one filter before the exhaust so all the dust you take from the carpet wont end up in the air, furniture and noses of people. At home we love this vacuum cleaner and one of these bags will last very long and it comes with all the needed filters. If you buy alternative cheap filters there is a risk of a bag breaking without you knowing, you will not notice because of the exhaust filter holding the dust, but the motor will get covered in dust and probably die, rendering your 400 dollar vacuum cleaner useless. Most vacuum cleaners (AND I HAVE SEEN MANY) die because of dust in the motor, I was surprised how clean the motor is in this one after doing a lot of cleaning, I appreciate all the effort put into the design of this one. If youre lucky enough to own one, just keep everything original.
