MILWAUKEES Electric Tools 2724-20 M18 Fuel Blower (Bare)

This is a great blower but it has a Hugh battery appetite. M18 12 amp blowing on highest speed will only last about 30 minutes. I have 2 of these batteries so it’s really not a problem for me.

Its very loud, but works great. I bought it to blow out my enclosed trailer but it works great for so much more too

Good blower for home owner.

Let me just start by saying my uses for this blower are clearing mowed grass clippings, light leaves and helping dry my car after car washes. It does those things wonderfully. I use a M18 XC battery. It has 2 speeds, high and low. high speed will drain that battery fairly quick. Maybe 10 min run time. Which for me is fine I don’t use it longer than that at one time. But If you plan on using it longer than that I would highly recommend getting a higher amp hour battery 5.0 ah and up, to get that longer usage time.

Just what I needed.

First thing! I like Milwaukee tools for there Quality and durability. This tool meets this mark. I also like the portability that battery operated tools give me. However, to use this tool as a leaf blower is a big disappointment. Its terribly under powered when compared to its gas powered equivalent and costs more. An XC 5.0 ah battery on high speed mode will give you less than 7 minutes of run time. Using the new HD 12.0 ah battery will give you about 20 minutes of usable run time. This is far from adequate for any serious leaf blowing! This item is good for blowing grass clippings off your side walk, sawdust out of your workshop or the dirt out of your garage, but leaf blowing on property with adult trees, I think not. The build quality of this item is good, but battery operated leaf blowing is not quite there yet. Maybe give technology another 5 years for leaf blowing!

Light weight, battery lasts long enough on turtle mode to do porch, driveway and front yard.

It really BLOWS. Now I have to get the BIGGER battery for (over $200, YIKES!) it to see how well it really works.
