> 3 dayAlthough some strategy can be involved it is easy enough to play with elementary age children. The rules are pretty simple. That said, it is easy to blow it and place tiles where they arent allowed. A certain amount of watching each play is necessary to avoid mistakes. You need a good size table space because you never know what the layout of the tiles will be.

> 3 dayThis full-size version is so fun to play. We learned on the travel-sized version, which was fine except it was difficult sometimes to distinguish between the orange and red tiles. We didn’t have that challenge with this full sized set. The blocks are a great size, lightweight, stand up easily on their sides, the quality is just what we were expecting, and we no longer have to retain the box it came in because a cloth bag was included that packs very easily! This is one of our all-time favorite games. It plays just as well with two people as it does with three or four. It’s relatively simple to learn and fun to play. It’s a winner!!

> 3 dayThis is my all time favorite game! I have gifted it about 5 times and everyone loves it. They even have a mini version for travel that comes in a zippered pouch and the tiles are smaller. This is a really easy game to learn but you can play with strategy as you get to know it and it gets really fun. It is sort of like scrabble mixed with sudoku. Even my 9 year old nephew plays it. It is also one of those games that is just as fun for 2 players as it is for 6. Also great for any age. My only critique is that in lower light everyone has a hard time differentiating the red and orange tiles and sometimes the blue and purple tiles. I wish there was more contrast or a pattern or something instead of the colors being so close. Otherwise, 10 out of 10!!

> 3 dayWe love this game because it is so much fun! For a family of 4, this game takes us about 45 minutes to play. This game is a hit for all ages, grown ups and children. We started playing this game for Family Board Game night with a 3 year old and a 6 year old. Since there is no reading, it is a great game for adults to play with young children. Of course because of the scoring mechanism, young children will not be able to play without adults. That is ok because this game is so much fun for mom and dad. (What grown up wants to play Chutes and Ladders or Candyland when there is Qwirkle….I also recommend Labyrinth as a Family game.) Our 6 year old was the most talented in the family at noticing Qwirkles. Our 3 year old, of course, needed help. Now, three years later at age 6 and 9, this game is still our favorite and brings many happy memories. I highly recommend for families with both younger and teenage children as well as empty nesters and board game hobbyists. Another plus is that you could say this game challenges our brain with a little bit of math pattern recognition and strategy. A winner for puzzle lovers at any age.

> 3 dayThis is a fun game, we have played it many times with visiting family the last few months. It can be explained in a minute, easy to catch on. Can still have conversation when playing. Kids and adults would like this fun easy game. We love to play our favorite playlists and have some snacks and play this really cool game. Even just me and my hubby will play it by ourselves sometimes. Its relaxing and simple, but NOT boring!
