We bought 2 copies of this game for my son and husband to play together on their Switches while my husband is deployed with the National Guard. Within a week of playing, both games developed a problem and now whenever they try to play “error code -9” displays with a link to a support page that doesn’t actually exist. Then the software closes on its own before we can do any troubleshooting within the game settings. I’ve tried to contact Mojang through email, phone and game forums, but they don’t seem to provide any customer service. Nintendo offered to refund the money for one of the games, which I turned down because this is not Nintendo’s issue, it’s Mojang’s. I will never buy a Mojang game or product ever again. It’s very disappointing especially for such an expensive game.

Great game. Plays great on switch. Not lag or graphic downgrade that honestly I expected. My daughter loves spawning waaaay too many cats and mobs on creative. Not uncommon for her to lag out my xbox 1 s (not series but old version s). But so far she has not lagged the switch not matter how large a tsunami of cats etc she summons. Excellent port of minecraft :)

Gift for my 6 year old granddaughter who lives in NC

This was a gift for my grandsons who lost his first tooth. He loves Minecraft and is enjoying playing it on his switch.
