It was a great deal but I did expect it to be a larger set, Ill probably have to buy a couple more sets to have what I need.

Bought a second pair to satisfy my younger daughter after she saw her older sister with these on her room. I love all the color choices as well as the fact that you can charge them instead of use batteries if you prefer.

These lights are very bright and the colors are absolutely beautiful! I have an unusual loft setup where my bed is under it and my office above, and putting fairy lights back and forth across the underside of the loft was clearly the best option to provide light in the bed area without a normal lightbulb glaring right in my face, so I ordered these. Ive had to delay full installation due to injuring my knee, so Ive just got the still-bundled lights hung up in the corner right now, but even putting them up that much and playing with the colors was enough to put a big smile on my face. Theyre going to be so pretty, and using the music settings while laying right under them is going to be a blast. Unfortunately, though, my set of them wont stay off! I turn them off, and a half an hour or an hour later they turn themselves back on. Lucky for me, in the place I put the little control box, its easy enough to unplug and replug the power cord from the control box at the base of the light string proper. Ill be switching off the lamp right next to them at same time usually anyway, so its only a minor inconvenience, but itd be a real issue if Id put them almost anywhere else.

My daughter absolutely loves these in her room its her night light uses them every night

After about a month it stopped working correctly and just has a red flashing light. I tried resetting it, but it doesnt respond to the remote correctly anymore.

To get them to work you need to point the remote directly at the battery pack, but it works with some distance. Look really nice, but tangle easily!

I could already tell how fragile these were so I handled them with the greatest care I could and out of no where the main wire broke… I have no idea how. I wasn’t even handling that section at the time. If you match the ends up and manage to secure the wire in place, they will still work. I did this rather than send them back, I’m so tired of searching for good lights for a streaming backdrop. The lights are very pretty and the app is awesome though. Just be very careful!

If it was just the lights, I would give it 5 stars. The remote set up is ridiculous though. The color buttons and On/Off are the only ones that are easily recognizable. The rest of the buttons (Timer, Flashing, etc) are on on dark gray circles with a tad bit dark lettering. I have to shine a flashlight on the buttons (and even then it is hard to tell what the buttons on) just to be able to see them. They could have very easily used White Font or a different contrast color to make it easier to read.

These lights were delivered 12/31, I put them up 1/1, it is now 1/13 and the lights wouldnt stay on. Id turn them on and within 1 minute theyd shut off. It was driving me nuts, so I came to check reviews. MANY people were complaining about battery life, so I decided to change mine -- surely that wasnt it, since they are soo new and I barely turn them on. Yep!! That was the issue. They have been on for 5 minutes now without shutting off. So, these completely suck the life out of batteries, VERY quickly, and even with minimal use. Moral of this review : if youre going to purchase these, make sure to add a ton of AA batteries to your cart as well, as this takes 3 at a time!!!
