> 24 hourTLDR; Great option for young families with small kids. I am happy with it and feel like its a steal of a deal and only takes creative thinking for me to get a quality output that I find satisfying. It gets 4 stars because of some performance quirks, but that goes with the price. I wouldnt want to give 5-stars because the cost-cutting created flaws. In my heart its a 5. After reading the reviews I had middle-to-low expectations. I was a bit unhappy with the focus until last night. This was when I decided to wear my glasses for distance. The picture is flawless, but wont be flawless for everyone. Here are my tips to get the best: Sharpness=80, Contrast=60, Brightness 45. Biggest need for a good focused image is to leave the keystone on its middle setting and move the projector to square the image as needed. Seems to me that using the keystone to correct the image creates more problems with focus. I personally have mine mounted on a shelf, upside down, secured by a bungee cord. This lines it up closely enough to the wall to present a nearly square image. I cant say anything about the audio because I have paired mine with a Vizio 2.1 soundbar. I basically use the projector as my main TV in my living area. I appreciate the idea of not having a TV as decoration or as an eyesore. The projector is noticeable, but Im trying to create an environment where TV is not as much at the center of the presentation. I live in Salt Lake City and in the winter it is overcast enough to have a clear image. I can shut the shades and see just fine, mostly. Dark scenes are difficult, but expected. I have an HDMI switch attached to the soundbar and a 50 HDMI cable running from the soundbar to projector. Requires some cable management. I will buy some cable clips to secure the cable to the baseboard. Since the switcher is in use i have connected the following: Xbox Series S, Fire Stick, HomeWorx TV tuner. There are issues with image tearing. I guess the refresh rate doesnt sync with any of the previously mentioned devices. Playing games feels like I am playing at 30FPS and with the breaks in the images from differing refresh rates. The Fire Stick works fine. Some complained about problems with the stick, but I found it needs power from a wall outlet and not from the projector or any similar source. If your Firestick continually reboots I suggest plugging the power into the wall. The HomeWorx TV tuner works fine, but it doesnt pull in signals very well. I have an LG TV connected to the same antenna and the reception with that is good to great. The HomeWorx tuner is spotty but mostly works. The HomeWorx tuner was the only realistic possibility I could find for an OTA signal, so I adapt. The focus of the projector is sharp in the middle and soft at the edges. With sharpness turned up, it does remind me of the days when I worked at the theater. Im happy with it, and ecstatic with the price point and the value. Your family will love it and if you are looking for a bright clear image in movie-theater settings you will be satisfied. Dont expect a performance projector. Expect something that gets the job done without bells and whistles. It projects at 720p, they say. I believe this, but cant tell. I do see pixels but seeing them gives me the satisfaction of good focus. Its great for movies like Star Wars. I think for action movies its purposes serve best. Video games might be a bit distracting in terms of image refresh rates and possibly lack of clarity and contrast. Connecting a TV antenna is possible, but the option I chose delivers sub-standard reception for me.

> 24 hourThis is a great product. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 is because the built in speakers arent very loud but it can be connected to a speaker with an audio cable so its not that big of a deal. Also if you lose the remote there is no way to control the volume which Im not a fan of. For the price its a great deal. Dont be afraid to make the purchase.

> 24 hourThis projector is pretty good for the price. I’ve set it up at different houses for different movies and it works great. BUT you have to adjust the colors and sharpness in the settings to get the maximum quality experience. Don’t just use it right out the box. Adjust the settings to your liking.

> 24 hourUPDATE!!! 2023 Projector is SO BRIGHT AND VIVID it is hard to believe its not a tv or monitor compared to the other brand projector I have. ***I contacted the company and they responded super quick, not only did they send me a replacement but it was upgraded (with proof of problem of course). The customer service will keep me a loyal customer for all my projector needs. Honestly dont hesitate in buying from them, theyre probably one of the most dependable companies that I have purchased from on Amazon. *** Old review - I loved this little projector so much but a year and a half in the left side is going black and its extremely hard to see.

> 24 hourI thought my kids would get a kick out watching a movie the size of a wall. Nope. The unit isnt bad by any means but I cant see it being a HD picture. It is clear for what it is so dont get me wrong. We hooked it up once at our house and then once at my parents. I wanted them to experience a projector in their home. They thought it was neat but not practical. One thing to remember is these cheaper units are not very bright. They work best in DARK rooms. I did hook up my sons Xbox One to it and he did play on it for a bit but he liked his 50 tv better. Kids these days. We recently had a gazebo installed in our backyard and we have a large shed that I may project a movie on if my youngest has a sleep over and its nice out. I may also try it out for Halloween and Christmas to project video on a curtain in our large front window. As it sits now, its more or less a novelty for us.

> 24 hourWorks great! Easy instructions out of the box. Comes with lots of converter cables. Was able to plug and play DDR with my PS2 using the AV cable that it came with. No lag experienced so rhythm games can be played great. Color and brightness of screen is good. Remote control worked perfectly. I had prepared 2 AAA batteries prior to arrival since I read this didnt come with them. Took off a star due to a couple issues: 1. The power cord is pretty short. Only about 3ft long, which is not nearly long enough to bring the projector from the wall to the center of my small bedroom. Easily solveable with an extension cord but still inconvenient. 2. There is also no easy method to face the projector upward toward the ceiling. The power cable connection sticks out in the back so you cant just rest the projector against its back. I was able to use the box that it came with, since it had a slit that the cable could go through, and random objects to prop it where I needed it to go. However, I think given the intended use of this item, the functionality to face the ceiling should be built in. Pictures of the jerry-rigged setup to face the ceiling 5ft above my bed are included. 3. The keystone doesnt adjust the screen tilt far enough downward. Since the bottom screw foot props the projector angled upward, adjusting the keystone to tilt the screen downward is more important than up, but even maxed out it doesnt adjust nearly far enough, while theres plenty of ability to tilt upward. 4. The picture quality isnt the clearest even when focused and text on the screen is not sharply outlined. Its clear enough to read subtitles though. Pictures of Netflix projected on the ceiling with the setup shown are included. Pictures were taken lying on my bed without fully extending my arms or using any zoom. 5. The projector fans run very loud, starting at full blast once the project is turned on and continuing throughout use. Think of the sound of computer fans spinning at max when a computer is running hot with intensive computational processing (like when playing a game with high graphics). These aside, all in all, this is a great deal to be able to watch movies lying down on the bed and not killing your neck. And also great to have a portable screen to play old console games on. Easier than a TV to transport and store. Clear enough against the wall that I dont think a projector screen is necessary. Very lightweight and compact. Since I move residences almost every year, this is a factor I regularly consider for all my purchases. Even though a number of issues were listed, this is about what I expected for the price, so I only took off one star. I usually dont bother writing reviews, but was motivated to write this honest review with more detail than Id usually put in for a free gift. I was not paid or sponsored to preach perfect things about it, as you can tell. Nevertheless, I wanted to add the disclaimer. Product was purchased for $85.

> 24 hourI gave this projector 5 stars across the board based on what it had to offer combined with its price point. I bought this projector for a camping trip we have coming up. I wanted something small that was not going to break the bank but still had a little oomph to it. I am not an audio or videophile by any stretch of the imagination but having bad eyesight and not wanting spend a whole lot has me, at times, putting in extra legwork to make sure I get the most bang for my buck. I had the luxury of already having a projector so the testing I did was on a projector screen I already have. When I go to use it outside for the next test I’m going to use it on a white sheet first to see if it’s going to be worth getting a portable screen for it. Based on some of the reviews and pics I have already seen I have a feeling getting a screen won’t be necessary. Picture Quality: In my opinion, taking in everything I just wrote and the cost of the projector, I think the picture quality is good. I was a little nervous when I tried to adjust the focus while trying to log into Netflix. I noticed, while trying adjust the focus, the text in the middle of the screen was nice and sharp but the text at the outer edges was blurry. I tried to capture a picture of this (pic #7) but it may not depict very well what I was seeing. I was able to fix this by making an adjustment to the Keystone setting which is right next to where you would adjust the focus. After that was fixed I set about tweaking some of the other settings like the Brightness, Contrast, etc. I found a handy app I was able to download on my IOS device that helped with that. You won’t be able to adjust everything the app tries to get you to but some of the settings are there and it was pretty easy and fun to do. Sound Quality: Sound quality, for what you have to work with is not too bad. I didn’t go into this looking for great sound out of the projector. The onboard speaker is adequate. It will distort if you turn it up too loud and you are watching a loud scene. For using it in the back yard, small presentations or gatherings it’s okay. There is an audio out jack on the device if you want to run that to a sound bar or some other sound system, which I didn’t do. Usually, I run the audio out of whatever my video source is (XBOX, DVD player), right into an audio receiver so I won’t be using the onboard speaker whenever I use it indoors. Bottom line: The projector is nice, it’s easy to setup and use and it won’t break the bank if you don’t need anything with all the bells and whistles. As soon as we get a night with a break in rain I plan on using this in the back yard with the kiddies.

> 24 hourExcellent $60 purchase! First off the projector is extremely well packaged: sleeved and inserted into a bubble cushion. The packaging makes a nice storage box for it too since its simple and has a handle. The bottom of the projector uses a standard tripod mount screw, so you can use any camera tripod with it (includes angle adjustment screw too for flat surfaces). It comes with powercord(wish this was longer, its quite short), composite, and HDMI cables, and the remote is simple to use and has all the functionality of the buttons on top the projector. It comes with a starter cleaning kit (some swabs for the LCD and a microfiber cloth for the lens) too. But enough about that, picture quality is whats most important with this thing. I believe its a 480p projector but its extremely bright and colors are honestly better than expected (imo looks best with Warm color profile, colors are more accurate and contrast isnt washed out). The picture quality is perfect for movies; its no 4K projector but in my opinion this is perfect for a family movie night where you just want a big screen for all to view or for an outdoor movie night. It looks better than it should at this price honestly and having been used to 1080 and 4k displays, this doesnt bother me since the picture is quite detailed. This is actually a better deal than buying a new cheap TV or cheap computer monitor! It has VGA and HDMI ports, which make it perfect for computer, console, or stream box use. I use a Google Chromecast Ultra on it and it works wonderfully. It can take a 1080p signal (possibly 4k too since my Chromecast Ultra works on it, although most devices adjust their output signal anyways so its probably outputting 1080p). The speaker on it is decent, its a good speaker for its portability especially outdoors and you can hear SFX and voices just fine on it, but indoors I use my HDMI sound bar. It has an audio jack too, should you want to connect external speakers for better sound. It has two USB ports, perfect for powering a Chromecast, but can be used to connect a wire to your phone to utilize screen mirroring or connecting flash drives (a microSD card slot is there too). This is good for viewing photos or playing mobile games but if you plan to use this for streaming services they wont work due to copyright limitations of screen mirroring. Use an HDMI stream box like Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, or Firestick to watch your content. As advertised it has an optical focus and keystone, but it also has a digital keystone which can adjust the angle even further! Overall this projector met and slightly exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it as a starter portable projector for movie nights, gifts, kids, or teachers looking for an excellent yet cost effective solution. I would buy this again if I needed to.

> 24 hourThis projector has some settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and it has a few on board pre-programmed settings for picture, movie, and text modes. Easy set up Comes with a remote ( no batteries included) and it has a HDMI cable and an audio video cable included. Its best to use in a darker environment. The brightness is not sufficient for watching in a room with much ambient light. For the price its good. Get the kids one so they can have movie night. Its great for outdoor use on dark nights. Youll need to get a cable to connect it to a phone. USB C to HDMI for most androids and lightning to HDMI for most IPhones. You can plug a USB thumb drive into it and watch movies or listen to music from it. Great gift for sports enthusiasts. The picture size can go up to about 200 inches and it supports 1080p Check one out
