We wanted to try an outdoor movie set up in our backyard for the fall so we could have socially distanced movie night. I havent looked at LCD projectors since we used to use them at work for projecting power points. I was concerned about sound and brightness and a way to hook up without a PC. I was able to plug in a Firestick and stand up a screen and go. I did add an external portable speaker to get better sound outdoors and I had to turn off Dobly Digital sound on the firestick on one movie. I loved that I could easily focus and set the keystone. On other projectors the controls were arcane.

The price was really good and so purchased this product. I was expecting something good and in testing it, the product is great. It doesnt connect to a cell phone, but can easily add a chrome cast or roku or whatever to stream whatever you need. sound is just okay, but for the price its good and could connect another speaker if you needed better sound.

We are very happy with our new projector. It is easy to use, and the brightness, picture quality and sound are excellent. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was that I did not realize it did not come with the cable needed to connect to a laptop, ipad or phone. I ordered this as a Christmas present for my husband, and was hoping to open it up and set it up that day to watch movies together. Without that cable, we were not able to use it until I could run to bestbuy the next day. So just a heads up, if you are ordering the projector, also order yourself an adapter cable at the same time so they arrive together. Once we had it all set up, we have been very pleased with the product.

Recently bought this as a tool to use when I do presentations which is a huge part of my job. The brightness on the projector doesnt really hold up as it needed the entire room to be pitch black to be able to see anything. Ended up having to return it as you cant really use it to do anything else apart from watching maybe movies in the darkness and comfort of your house.

We love this but the volume was not supported on our new blue ray DVD player. We had to pull out an old DVD player that can’t play blue-rays if we wanted to hear any sound. It works fine with my iPhone and had no volume issues but we just couldn’t get any sound with a newer version DVD player. The volume was great when paired with my phone. We haven’t tried connecting to a computer or any other devices yet. The picture quality is great!! Kids absolutely love this!!

This product is great for the price. I connected it directly to my laptop with an HDMI cord and it worked right away. The picture is big and clear. Makes my movie nights a lot more epic. The sound is louder than I expected for a projector. You can still hear the projector noise but it isnt over bearing. Great beginning projector without breaking the bank!

I did a bit of research around for projectors before I got this one and I’m pretty happy I did. For the same price as this one I found most projectors are 360p and less bright. This one I have set up in a bedroom with standard blinds and it looks clear and works great. I can even see it just fine during the day. I put up a shelf above the bed and the picture takes up the whole wall. I have my switch connected to it and resting on top of the projector and have the wires hidden behind some tapestries. Overall playing smash bros on a screen that takes up the whole wall is really fun and exactly what I was looking for. It’s quiet enough that I don’t notice it, plus the remote seems to work from any angle so positioning isn’t an issue.

I bought a projector late last year because I needed one quickly, and I didnt have a lot of time to research them. It was ok, and did the job, but it wasnt great. This projector, on the other hand, blows it away. The image is much larger, brighter, crisper than the other one. As soon as I fired it up, and plugged in my Fire Stick, you could tell it was a big improvement. (For some reason, the stick wouldnt play volume through the projector, but I linked a BT speaker and its perfect. Also, you cant use the stick remote to adjust sound, only the buttons on the speaker itself, but I blame the stick for this!) My kids think its great we can now have an outdoor movie experience, even though were stuck in the house. If you dont want to spend big bucks for a true 1080 projector, this is a good option, no doubt.

This is a great projector, and is exactly what I was looking for in an entry level projector. Much more than what I expected for a projector at this price. I bought this to learn and experience what a projector has to offer; mainly to watch a few movies at night and the football games. This has a GOOD picture in a darkened room with low light. The picture at night in a dark room is GREAT. Just what I thought it would be after all, it is a projector and not a back light LED screen, thats why they turn the lights out in the movie theater. VERY happy with this at this price range and my kids even happier not that they have a bigger screen to look at.

I bought this knowing nothing about projectors. I dont know how the brightness compares to other projects, but I can still faintly see it in a room with a sunny window. I dont use it in a pitch-black room, but I have the blinds drawn. I mostly use it to read, not to watch movies, and I am able to read in a room with some sunlight coming in through the windows. I imagine the colors would be more vibrant in a darker room and thus make for a better movie experience. Ive had it for a couple months and it sill works well. It got a little blurry but wiping the lens seemed to fix that. My biggest complaints are that the fan is too loud and the power cord is too short. I did debate getting a more portable one, but I was worried it might not be as bright, and having a pitch-black room is a hassle for me. The speaker on it is pretty good although you cant play anything really loud on it.
