> 3 dayI recently conducted an informal test of 6 abrasive pads for my RO Sander. I used several brands and Mirka is awesome! Highly recommend for anyone out there who makes Epoxy Resin boards or tables.

21-11-2024They last several times longer than the paper disc of the same grade. Do not clog and stay attached to the sander until you remove them.

Greater than one weekGreat deal on very good sandpaper. These allow vacuums to suck up the sanding dust far better than big box brands and they typically last 2-3 times longer. If you do a sanding project 1-2 times a year, don’t bother, but if you are a hobbyists or professional, these are a must-have.

> 3 dayThis highbred sandpaper removes material very quickly. The big advantage is that it does not easily plug up from glue or old finish. I use a wire brush to clean off sticky materials. Also the dust collection is far superior to standard grit/paper sanding discs. I believe it is more economical than standard grit paper in the course of grits. These disks last longer and save time by not having to stop in the middle of a job to change disks. I have to say I do not see a significant difference in the finer grits below 120. I use Abranet 80, 100, and 120 with a Festool Rotex 150 and selectable oscillation, which helps smooth out sanding marks between these course grits. 100 grit is favorite.

> 3 dayAbranet makes a quality sanding disc. They are durable & provide fantastic smooth surfaces as you increase the grit number. I use them on wood and epoxy with no worries about swirls, as long as you keep them clean it’s a large gum eraser as needed. This is the only sanding disc I use.

Greater than one weekWe all know the part we hate the most about most projects...the sanding, and the dust, and the poor quality of big box store sanding disks. This product makes that hated task a beeze. Superior dust handling if your sander is hooked up to a dust collector or vacuum. Consistent grit, so it wont leave scratches. If you havent tried this product you should. Its not 3M, but very close, and the dust removal due to the net design is great.

> 3 dayMirka is my go to sandpaper, just make sure you use a protection pad to keep from burning your sanders grip.

> 3 dayThese sanding disks allow for superior dust collection and have great longevity in all grits but 80 and it seems to come of base plate on orbital sanders quicker than the others even with the hook and loop adapter. Still better than the alternatives.
