Look at the manufacturer provided photo. The grate is meant to RECEIVE water from a ditch or swail and flow downstream FROM the grate . If you put it at the downstream end of your raingutters its going to block the outlet of any gathered debris.

To expensive For what it is. I think the Pipe is pvc electrical conduit.

It was exactly what I needed for the drainage I installed under a walkway with a hill on the side

Nice product. Would like to see longer pvc to move the fitting/connectors further into the bank and not so close to the turf surface.
