> 24 hourSeems to work OK. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it. I wouldnt trust it for something that needs to super precise but it will get you within a few thousandths.

> 24 hourA simple tool, yet one thats essential if you do any type of milling, or even precision drilling. Works perfectly! No instructions included, but it is a standard type of edge finder and you can find simple directions on the internet if you arent familiar with this type of tool.

> 24 hourThis product doesnt seem to be an actual Mitutoyo edge finder, rather it is likely a generic copy. It seems to work but is not as accurate as I had hoped. Its fairly difficult to determine when to stop, and I had been under the misconception that there would be an audible indication as well. If there is an audible indication I cannot hear it over the sound of my milling machine motor (which isnt very loud, to be honest). I will admit that it could be operator error and that I may get better at using it with time.

> 24 hourAt $10, its hard to believe this is really a Mitutoyo branded tool, but it is. Quality is fantastic, very precise and repeatable, down to about a hundredth of a millimeter (as far as I can take it). I much prefer the cylinder style edge finders to the conical style edge/center finders. Its good to have one of the conical type in your toolbox for occasional use on small holes, but 99.9% of the time, this is the one Im reaching for.

> 24 hourI have missed my return window and I cant find where to contact the seller so I will start with this review. I have used many Mitutoyo edge finders over my 24 years of machining and most of them are awesome and last a very long time even through crashes or minor mistakes. This last one which I bought off of amazon was not very good. It worked well for a few weeks and then I began to notice that it would not repeat so I went through the process of checking the machine and it was fine. I grabbed another edge finder and it repeated just fine. so my conclusion was that this edge finder is now no good. I got approximately 4 weeks out of it and usually a Mitutoyo edge finder will last a few years when using it daily. I would really like to have a replacement if anyone sees this who can make this happen. I like the Mitutoyo brand and Im sure I just got the one lemon.
