> 3 dayI recently installed a tang peep sight on a Winchester 9422 rifle. The work required drilling two holes in my beautiful, discontinued firearm. Margin of error was zero. Using this edge finder, I easily located the right spot, drilled, tapped, and mounted the sight. Perfection. Works as advertised. Get one if you want to locate your work to .001 or even better.

Greater than one weekI gave it a 4 star for accuracy because I have not used it yet, but I looks as it should.

> 3 dayIt could use a little hand finishing to remove a burr here and there. After about 5 minutes of finishing it works great.

> 3 dayGreat edge finder for the manual mill. This is a replacement for a Starrett edge finder that broke and it is every bit as well made and high quality. I also ordered a few cheap Chinese edge finders and wish I had not. In terms of quality this is a far superior tool

> 3 dayThis thing works very well, is very accurate, and find that I can get an edge location to about 0.001 just fine. I have made the error of driving it hard into my stock along the Z-axis a couple of times and it still keeps going! It is also very forgiving when over driven horizontally. When using it I typically turn the spindle at about 100-300 rpm so that the miss-alignment wobble is very visible. I have used it against mild steel, Al, and plastic and there is no visible wear on the tool. I should purchase a spare or two.
