So far so good. Noticed the top portion that is knurled is not 100% concentric when twisting. Still spot on though.

Nice tool, calibrated right out of the box, easy to use , love the depth mic. I knocked off a star because of the cheap plastic case it comes in.

Mitutoyo is my go to for precision measuring tools. Always great quality and 100% accuracy. Since Starret has shipped production to China, they have lost my co workers and my trust. They just arent as good quality as they used to be. Just another cheaply made product that suffered to corporate greed.

I should have bought this instead of the import from china. Its accurate repeatable readings are great after the low price spread. I knew better when I bought the other unit here on Amazon. You get what you pay for!!!

I use this daily at work. It works flawlessly and is incredibly accurate. The extended base is perfect for measuring wider cavities. I would recommend this to any machinist who needs an accurate, quality depth mic.
