Old adage, you get what you pay for. This is a quality indicator at a good price. Nice size dial and interchangeable tips. I use it on my Sherline mill to indicate everything true. Its a joy to operate. Highly recommend the few extra dollars spent to get quality vs cheap imposters.

Great product, but didnt expect to not have the swivel attachment included. That bar in the picture is not a swivel so you cant use it tram a mill head

What can I say. Mitutoyo always has good tools. I am not a machinist, but a home HD mechanic. This works well for me and it appears to be accurate.

The measuring tip does not seem as it is adjustable. Instructions are Vague. If tip position is adjustable no clue on how to move it to different positions. SAD

This is a great starter model. It has multiple attachement options. It is dead on accurate.

You simply cannot beat Mitutoyo quality. The reviews show that the other imports have problems. I have a Mitutoyo caliper that has been used every day for the last 25 years and it is still accurate in spite of a lot of abuse.
