To start off: it’s insane that apple just stopped including the charger base with 12. That said this works like the old big quick charger adapters that came with ipads and you could also use on anything with a lightning port - quickly. I use the magsafe with this to avoid putting wear on the port (I use wired headphones still). Not compatible with regular lightning cable since it’s a USB-C port in the base itself. Still peeved they keep cutting more and more and fell like they’re pushing us towards android in terms of hardware. Also remember to get a magsafe compatible case of you want it to snap on and stay in place. Definitely a better deal than the OEM part

I use this with a splitter and charge more than one phone at a time because I usually cant find the other chargers. Handles it like a champ.

In the photo when purchasing and after ordering; a photo of two chargers appear. I received only one charger. Also, there is not a wire to connect to the phone. To say the least, I am disappointed.
