> 24 hourNo problems with this part. Disassembly is quite difficult. Soldering it on is very difficult and I would only recommend doing it yourself if you have significant mircosoldering or SMD experience. Magnification is very helpful but a microscope is not required.

> 24 hourFlex from charging port was defective, I had to switch the flex between new and old charging port. None a volt was registered.

> 24 hourExactly what I needed. This is definitely a harder item to repair on iPads so make sure you fully understand what it will entail prior to choosing to do this yourself.

> 24 hourJust crazy!!! So here I am finally done soldering on the flex part onto the logic board and I was ready to test it out... I’ve done tons of these before so it’s no rocket science... I plug It in to give it a go and nothing. So I thought of maybe the device just needs to charge a Little longer. I leave it alone for a couple of ours while I work on other repairs and still no life... I then just unplug the cable from the charger and the port came right off!!! Just completely clean! I was totally stumped by it cuz we’ll the port itself (where the charger goes in) wasn’t soldered in correctly! Could I have fixed it? Sure... But I have to remove the entire thing again and I would need to put a new entire dock in completely as to avoid any previous solder. So I’m returning it... I probably got a defected one??? Idk??? But which ever the case it was totally not cool that it happened.
