Pry tab and screw drivers worked great but the cable didnt. When installed the home button doesnt work and it wont charge. Installed old cable back and home button works and it charges. It charges real slow thats why i was replacing it. Gave 2 stars for the tools the cable is a flop.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 had been dead for several years with a bad connector as I was afraid of an expensive repair. Oh boy...was this simple and inexpensive. Followed one of several DIY videos in YouTube and it is back to life.

Had a tablet that wasnt charging and found this cable was kinked and the ribbon was broke in several places. After a bit of fiddling to get the old tape was holding it on removed, stuck the new one on and attached the connectors and it worked like new. As long as you are comfortable repairing electronics, worth doing it.
