01-04-2025We get a lot of use out of this toy. My 1yo hasnt exactly figured out how to move the cords (even though she has played with it a lot in the past few months; however, she still loves it! She likes to chew on the cords and the balls at the ends. And I think this is something she will get a lot of use out of as she grows as well. Overall, a very good buy!

> 3 dayI ordered this on a whim when I was looking for toys to take on an airplane for my 2-year-old daughter. She ended up loving it! And it’s perfect to throw in a bag for travel or going to a restaurant.

> 3 dayMy baby has loved this since he was six months old. First for the colors and squid-like motions, then as a teething toy, and when he gets older Im sure he will enjoy pulling the cords...I know I do! Spinning it in circles is the only thing that gets us through diaper changes now. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayI have a love hate relationship with this toy. When we ordered it, it was still partially advertised as a toy for 6 months+. It was confusing since some of the description said 6 months+, other parts of the description said 18 months+. There was a cute picture of a baby clearly younger than 18 months so I bought the toy thinking the 6 months+ is probably accurate. It is a well made colorful toy with multiple textures and soft silicone. But the moment I gave it to our then 6 months old daughter, she immediately tried to swallow one of the ends. I could immediately pull it away but if I wouldnt have watched her so closely, this would have been a huge choking hazard. These little balls in the end are just the right size to swallow and get stuck. I contacted the seller and they were great to deal with. They explained that they used to advertise it from age 6 months but changed it to 18 months and up due to some buyers being concerned. The intended play with this toy is to pull on the strings, not teething. The seller even removed the misleading picture with the small baby playing with the toy, which mislead us to buy this toy. They also offered to send our daughter an age appropriate toy but that never arrived - maybe it got stuck somewhere due to Covid. In the end, we decided to keep this toy. Our daughter plays with the yellow string as intended but the rest she still majorly just tries to mouth it (whenever she does that, I take it away). The future will show if she grows to like pulling the strings or not. 1 star deducted for it being such a pricy toy for what it is. The second star deducted for all the confusion around it - I will increase the rating though if it actually can catch our daughters attention, playing with it as it is intended (because currently, pulling the yellow string bores her very fast and after a couple minutes she either throws it or starts teething on it). So in summary, I recommend NOT to buy it for a child that is still primarily teething every toy and follow the recommended age for this toy. Edit: updated to 4 stars after the company contacted me again. I really like how much they stand behind their product and how great their consumer service is - that definitely makes up for the initial confusion regarding age appropriateness.
