Modern Edge Decorative Wall Plate Switch Plate Outlet Cover, Durable Solid Zinc Alloy (Single Duplex 2PK, Matte Black)

I am redoing my bathroom on a very tight budget, and when putting in my old light plate I broke it (apparently you shouldnt use an impact driver for this job) anyways, I went to lowes to buy just a very cheap replacement. It seems like all they had were the plates for the push lights not the toggle switches. And the one white plate they did have was 3xs more then what I paid for this and the matching outlet covers. I expected these to be as flimsy and cheap if not more so then the ones at Lowes. I was so pleasantly surprised at how sturdy they are. These are now the best ones in my entire house. I will be ordering replacements soon for the rest of them. Worth the price. And I ordered YESTERDAY. It isnt like I would have installed the lowes one before now anyways. A+++ One of my very best Amazon buys recently. I am a late night shopper that can order a lot of crap that we dont need or that isnt what I expected it to be.

I was able to use this along with a few other gadgets (mostly unseen) to make an attractive and sturdy A/B switch to set my low voltage handrail lighting to be on by itself or coordinated with the hall light.

Sharpe looking wall plate. Purchased 3 of these. One was used with several other same type plates in the kitchen. The other two I lightly sanded and painted them the same color as the walls in the family room and they blend in nicely. Wife loves them.

It was hard to find a wall plate in this exact configuration. This one fits the bill, looks classy, and is well-made.

We remodeled our house and purchased these throughout the whole house. Words of caution, these plates stick out 1/8-3/16 further than the standard plate, the outlet is flush with the plate. I added the Raco metal gang flush fit wall plate spacer to help stiffen the plugs but now I am going to have to and add spacers in behind the outlets and switches to bring them out further. When the outlet is flush with the plate they look off so it would be well worth it to purchase flush plates spacers and outlet spacers if you use these plates. Another thing I found really annoying some of the outlets would not take the longer screws provided with these plates they need to be shorter. Overall satisfied with the look just wish they were designed to sit flush to avoid the extra hassle.

Very nice quality, just a bit larger than the builder’s special which l appreciated very much as some off the paint came out when removing the old plastic plates and this new ones just covered the little defect, recommended

Nice light cover but only one was included in the Two pack. The package wasnt sealed so the other one must have slid out at some point. Would have liked the second one. Oh well. It looks better than my old one but I would buy a different one next time. Itll show smudges, fingerprints to well.
