Moen Gibson Brushed Nickel One-Handle Single Hole Modern Bathroom Sink Faucet with Optional Deckplate, 6145BN

Ive had this installed for 2 days now-- Ill update if opinion changes-- but so far very pleased. Id rank myself as intermediate DIY-er. Directions were straight forward and easy to follow. My only challenge was that my water lines were 5/8 and this faucet needed 3/8, so I needed to do some additional plumbing work with replacing the shutoff valve to accommodate a smaller water line. Dont forget to buy plumbers putty and teflon tape!

I searched for just the right faucets for our bathroom remodel. I wanted sleek/simplistic and modern, but not “weird-modern”. We went with all chrome fixtures in the bathroom, and I was nervous about fingerprints and that they would always look dirty. But I haven’t experienced anything at all like that in the two weeks we’ve used them. They work incredibly well, the design is smart and gets the water exactly where you’d want it and nowhere else! I can’t speak to the matching drains that came with, because our new vanity also came with pop up drains, so we went with those for now. Overall, these were an incredible buy and I’d highly recommend!

This faucet is great for a bathroom sink, but its also great for a bar sink with the little bowls. It works well and was fairly easy to install. No leaking.

Ordered two. We haven’t installed them yet but they arrived new and perfectly packaged. They are weighty, modern, and beautiful. Screams quality. I will update this review once they are installed.

This faucet from Moen replaced an old, ugly, faux brass one in the home we recently purchased. I prefer one handle faucets, and this arrived at the perfect time as the original faucet was a leaky mess. The hubby did the install, and while there were a couple of swear words, he said overall it wasnt any harder to install than other faucets hes replaced over the years. Everything needed (well, except for tools) was included in the package, and the instructions were concise and easy to follow. Since we were going from a faucet that required three holes in the vanity top to just one, we had to do something with the other openings. One we turned into a soap dispenser and the other has a sprayer hose. Sounds weird, but having a sprayer on the bathroom sink has come in very handy! We both really like how much better the sink and vanity look, and we both appreciate how much better this Moen faucet works. The only aspect of this faucet that we dont love is how tall it is. Its a design element that seems like it would fit best with the kind of sink where the bowl sits on top of the vanity rather than being sunken in. But, its in and it works beautifully. Its a very well made item. With as much use as the bathroom sink gets, we arent worried that this faucet will break down anytime soon.

Got this to complement Kohlers Purist line, which I have in the shower. Much more reasonable price for a good, quality faucet. Style is just what I needed

Havent installed yet because I need to get sealant putty for the new drain. Very high quality and stylish. Looked over the instructions and they seem to be thorough and detailed enough. Looking forward to switching out my first faucet and drain.

This is a review of the Moen 6145 Gibson One-Handle High Arc Chrome Bathroom Faucet. Ive learned my lesson as it concerns buying no-name imported faucets from Amazon. They may look good and have a low price but they are totally not worth it. They can leak, have poorly fitting parts, be noisy and have poor flow. For my condo renovation Ive been purchasing either Moen, or Delta. They are superior in quality and if you need a replacement part youll be able to get it. Good luck with the no-name part replacement. This faucet has a flawless chrome finish and is solid. The single handle is easy to use and the water flow is easily adjusted. Installation was about as straightforward as it could be. Very pleased with the Moen faucet and am sure it will provide years of dependable use.
