It is installed next to toilet for my wife. Has made it much easier for my wife to get down and up as it helps steady her.

Grab bar is just what was needed to assist in getting up from sitting position.

This product did not include the SecureMount shown in the video. The grab bar package only had six long screws and screw mounting plate. Had to pay extra to purchase the SecureMounts shown in the video.

My husband easily installed this grab bar for me after I suffered a serious knee injury. By placing it on the diagonal, he was able to deliberately hit two studs. Its very, very study. If you look at the shadow in the picture, you can see the grips. I dont know that they are necessary, but I like them.

mounting information assumes theyll be sunk into studs. the mounting screws and sleeves do not work if youre going through tile.

Classical look at a great price.
